The owner and staff are friendly and happy to serve
Their sweet tea is good, right sweetness but not too sweet or bad aftertaste
Egg drop soup is spot on
And the chicken egg foo young, half order, with white rice was fantastic. I can only imagine how hungry you would have to be to eat a full order.
Definitely best egg foo young I’ve had ever.
I felt the portions were great and perfect for a good lunch, I had to sit a second before I could move
Prices are cheaper and quantity are better than any fast food options around

Apparently they do not like when you cash in rewards. After spending 100s of dollars here, I decided to use my $10 reward on my last order. And I do mean LAST order. I ordered chicken and broccoli ala cart which feeds 2, according to the menu. And it usually does. But today they sent me a half order at best! I dont appreciate being ripped off. Learn how to treat your customers. Its fast food garbage that shouldn’t be eating anyway, so I guess I should say thanks?

I recently tried the new wing special that comes with 6 bone-in wings and fries, and I have to say it was definitely worth the price. The portion of fries was generous, though they could’ve used a little more salt and they weren’t fully cooked. Still, they were decent overall. The wings, on the other hand, were delicious — easily the highlight of the meal.
I also ordered the sweet and sour pork, but that dish was a bit disappointing. The pork itself didn’t really have any flavor, and I found myself relying on the sauce just to make it enjoyable. It definitely could’ve been better.
Despite the issues, the price wasn’t bad at all — about $25 for everything — so I feel like I still got a fair deal. With a few improvements, this place could be great.
Also the guy in front that was in charge of taking orders, definitely did a fenominal job.

Amazingly good. I had rad reviews and it was everything people said. Delicious. Won ton soup flavorful, meals come with egg rolls of spring rolls, steamed or fried rice, soup and/or Crab Rangoon. We had Gen TSO’s chicken and Shrimp with Zgarlic says. Great portion sizes. We are glad to have a Chinese food place near us.

If you’re on the hunt for takeout that hits all the right notes, look no further than Happy Dragon Chinese Restaurant. Their sweet and sour chicken is a crispy delight, perfectly fried to achieve that satisfying crunch with every bite, while the tangy sauce adds just the right amount of zing. And let’s not forget the cashew chicken—it’s bursting with flavor, featuring tender chicken pieces and crunchy cashews that create a delightful texture contrast. Every dish is made fresh, flavorful, and ready to take home, making it a great place to get some great meals to go.

The food is very bland lacking the exciting flavors and experience that should come with this cuisine. The rep hyped up the food as he should I’m sorry to say that the food tastes burnt from old oil and it leaves a bad after taste in your mouth. I will never refer a friend.

The only good Chinese takeout new Braunfels/ Seguin area has. Everything has good flavor, panko breading, and my fried rice is actually fried rice with veggies. Hot and sour soup is good!

The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the red headed young man who worked the register was one of the sweetest guys I’ve ever met. Other than that the food was absolutely horrible and disgusting. Dried and old. Not fresh NOT AUTHENTIC. Garlic chicken was the only thing that was barely mediocre but even that did not taste right or authentic. Calling this place “Chinese” is some sort of twisted joke. The wontons were cold and definitely come frozen from a box. Even Panda Express is better and we all know Panda Express is not real Chinese. I am extremely disappointed and annoyed. They tried to replace the orange chicken and sesame chicken that was so dried and old that all we had on the plate was the fried crumbles covered in sauce there was 3 pieces of chicken that was actually chicken. The beef and broccoli tasted and had the consistency of rubber. The lemon grass chicken had an entire onion chopped up with thin small pieces of chicken. This was one of the worst meals I’ve had in my 26 years of living. Worst restaurant in New Braunfels. Do not waste your money this is not good at all. The only thing I will say is that the young man was so polite, sweet and kind he was the only good thing that came out of this experience I hope he makes it far. But this place has 0 stars from me.

Went to Happy Dragon for dinner, had the chicken lemongrass. The dish was amazing the rice soft and full of flavor. You have to add broccoli. Best lemongrass I’ve had. The price was on point. The portion size is generous. The food came out fast. The staff was very friendly. Overall would definitely recommend.

Probably will not go back. The General Tso’s chicken was okay, not very spicy. The shrimp in the Sweet and Sour Shrimp were yummy and big, but the sauce had a weird aftertaste. The Egg Rolls were okay, but sadly, the fried rice was very dry with not much flavor. They forgot to bring us our soups; so we got our other food first. The soups were good, though. Tables weren’t bussed, and customers had to ask for tables to be cleaned.
