I love Happy Dragon! I have dined in only one time, but I frequent their order ahead as I work in the area. They are fast and the food is always fresh. They even recognize my number when I call and they know my order! Their dumplings are like a 20/10. They have ruined dumplings for me from anywhere else. I really think the secret is in the sauce, but its delicious either way!! I will continue supporting happy dragon!

We are in town on vacation and just come from the Ark Encounter. We were pretty hungry and finding this place was a total score!
This is a buffet and everything was super fresh! My photos show how delicious the food options are! The people working there were standing by to ensure our drinks were always topped off and and waste plates were removed from the table fast! The array of different flavors were amazing!
The restrooms were nice and clean with no issues. I would urge anyone liking this type of food to check this place out. The food for the price was quite a value for our family!

I am flabbergasted on all the 5 and 4 star reviews, even some of the 3 stars. We took my sons friend out for lunch here and I was legit embarrassed. I’m not sure fast food wouldn’t have been a step up. “Buffet” is being generous with the description, it’s on the small size for the price. For lunch-time, I was amazed at how old the food seemed to be…like it was leftover from breakfast? I mean much of it was luke-warm and extra chewy. We all struggled to find much here that was good. Wouldn’t go back. Could be way better than it is with some work. They were friendly though.

The food was really bad, all the chicken tasted the same and the sweet and sour chicken was raw in the middle. The cookies were store bought and the sprite was watered down. The fried rice was the only thing worth getting and hardly worth it. Do not recommend the happy dragon made me very unhappy

Happy Dragon is a comforting place to eat in an area with few Asian restaurants. The food is good, with a wide variety of dishes. Because the locals prefer fried food, there are more options geared towards that crowd, but there are still some lighter options, including Szechuan Chicken with Broccoli, Chinese BBQ Pork, String Beans, Hot and Sour soup, Wonton soup, and more.
Service is friendly, seating and parking are plentiful, atmosphere is comfortable.

I recently visited this buffet restaurant and while the food options were decent, the overall experience was affected by the customer service. Several staff members seemed noticeably unhappy, specially the guy at the counter and instead of creating a welcoming atmosphere, they appeared to be watching how much food guests were taking. It felt uncomfortable, as if we were being monitored rather than served. A simple smile or friendlier attitude would have made a big difference. The lady who was refilling the food looked noticeably grumpy when I accidentally spilled a small amount of food. Instead of offering help or even a neutral reaction, her expression made the situation feel awkward and uncomfortable.

Funny name as the owners seemed anything but happy. The food was ok. The service was not good. I would assume that the buffet would be better then take out as you can see the food and tell what you are getting also. Some of what we ordered didn’t seem to be typically how the dishes are made by other places. Overall average food but less then average service.
