Can’t believe there are so many negative comments/reviews about this place. I’ve been here twice and both times the food and service were great. Maybe it’s the time of day, or day of the week !! But I’ve been here twice on a Sunday and wait time was decent with great service and amazing portions of meats. Would recommend to anyone in the South Bay Area that would like to avoid the long lines, at Convoy SD Korean BBQ joints…

First time to try this place on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t busy at all, we were seated within a few mins. The ambiance is really nice, clean and well kept. Service is outstanding, younger employees working hard. They would check on us every 5-10mins and changed our grill when needed. The meat is fresh and has great quality. All in all our experience was wonderful. Def will be back!

Bone in marinated short rib & marinated pork shoulder steak highly recommended , the service is really good, they changed the grill several times to keep the marinated flavors.
It is a good variety of tap beers , with a good family’s environment!
You can also enjoy Padres games!

Nice Atmosphere and very spacious inside with plenty of seatings. Me and my family sat outside in the Patio where the outdoor fire pit kept us warm the whole time, and I liked the music they were playing. We had the premium option, and really liked the giant supreme short rib and boneless marinated short ribs. I was surprised to see that they had a full bar option for the cocktails as well so I’ll be sure to try out the different drinks next time. Cheers!

Went on a Saturday night and surprisingly we were able to get a table without a long wait. We love that they offer outdoor dining seating so your clothing isn’t overwhelmed with the aromas of KBBQ.

South Bay only has Mana and Hanu for AYCE KBBQ without driving to Convoy. I would say the quality and meats here are really good and the service was exceptional. We had a party of 6 and tables weren’t ready so we hung out at the bar. We came at 6:30. When we got seated at a table but came to realized, all the food will need more room so they moved us to the semi-private area. They have a really good vent system because usually I’ll smell like bbq from head to toe but I didn’t here.
I love that they don’t just put all the side dishes out. You order what you want which is not wasteful. They have a list of rules and it’s a maximum of 3 split cards per table.
Loved the corn cheese and japchae. We ordered a variety of meats but I like the ones that aren’t marinated to dip in the sauce. Lots of drink options.
Plenty of parking in this plaza.

Amazing service and delicious food!
For all you can eat it’s great value – come super hungry!
Menu hack: get half orders so you can try a lot more.
Love the vibe there too – felt really hip and modern.

Modern and hip interior.
Service was very accommodating, given that our group was a party of 12 people.
Roomy and plenty of space to move around the restaurant.
Typically a longer wait time on weekend nights.
Our go-to local kbbq restaurant.

Honestly this was one of the worst service experiences I had. There were barely any customers in the restaurant but the servers were not attentive whatsoever, busy chitchatting among themselves. My husband dropped his chopsticks and we asked them MULTIPLE times to different servers for another pair. Just ended up getting out the seat to grab them ourselves.food was ok better at manna.

Great Korean BBQ. You need to make sure you are hungry as the price is on the high end ($34 and$44) for all you can eat. Highlights: The ribeye was tender and tasty. The tongue was very good. The pork belly tasted great. We only had a few sides, including a very good miso soup and a really good kimchi rice.
