Went for a nice day drive and ended up 115 miles from home here in the small town of Malta. We stopped at Hansens hub for lunch and we’re greated by the kindest staff. And not to mention the hand made fresh sandwiches were amazing as well. Small town food places like this always have the best food. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

When traveling through this area to visit family, I always make sure to eat at the HUB. The sandwiches are delicious with the homemade bread they have and I like how you can customize your sandwiches with all the different toppings offered.
We also like getting the pizza because the crust (also on homemade dough) is so crispy. And they are very generous with their toppings as well.

I like to support local businesses and I’ve been going to this location for 10 years. Previous owner ran a good store and made good food. Current owner only 50 percent of the time the orders are correct. Every time the order is incorrect the owner won’t take it back and wants you to pay for it making the customer take the responsibility. There’s set prices on the food and extra toppings is an additional charge understood. A 6” sandwich costs $5 add extra toppings brings it to $8. For the extra toppings now up to $12 for a 6” any other place it’s $12 for a 12”. The owner changes the prices on the food based on her mood. If the owner is this unhappy in the service industry and treats customers accordingly, maybe it’s time to get out of the business?? I have sent this place a lot of business and since have apologized to everyone I’ve recommended it to. Unfortunately there is only two restaurants in Malta. However if you want good steaks and burgers and fries that aren’t cooked in a Nu-Wave microwave then two blocks up the street is Sage Valley Grill.

Hansen’s Hub has the nicest people, best sandwiches and pizza around, and a nice small town atmosphere. We love coming here and drive 30 minutes regularly to have their food and chat! I recommend this place to anyone driving through and also to those that would have to drive a ways to get there and I say it’s worth it! Keep up the good work Hansen’s Hub!!

On a four month road trip and we were headed to Pocatello, Idaho after spending several days in Salt Lake City, Utah. Had some long stretches of nothing so when we saw the Shell Station in Malta, we had to stop. While I fueled, my wife spotted Hansen’s Hub across the street and went to grab some food. She wanted pizza but they make everything fresh and she knew we still had hours to drive, so she opted for two sandwiches. Wow, they were delicious – fresh bread, everything tasted great, and she said the price was more than reasonable. The staff were a young man and woman (probably teenagers) who were very polite and friendly. This is definitely a must stop if you are in the area.

Best fried food I’ve had in a long time.
When you are passing through Malta going to or from City of Rocks this is a place you need to stop at. They have a good selection of gm food from cold sandwiches on homemade bread to freshly grilled chicken or burger patties and pizzas.
Their fries are perfect. If you are on the hunt for the perfectly fried and flavored fries look no further than Hansen’s Hub. Also the ladies ladies that worked with us were very friendly and kind as we ate dinner as a family.
I highly recommend this place.

Love this place! I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get pizza here! By far the best I have ever have! I love the vibe here and love that for as small as Malta is they can still offer great food!

I’ve been on many road trips, but this is the first time I’ve ever driven 8 miles out of my way for a burger. You know what? Worth it. The ladies take their time making the food, only because they’re making it the right way. The burger was fresh and top notch, fries were super fresh and came with some really good dipping sauce. The store itself has a really good variety given how small it is. If you’re coming through 84 like I was and you need some lunch, give Hansen’s Hub a thought.
