We ordered the chicken/mushroom fried dumplings, the boiled beef dumplings, wood ear mushrooms, shrimp/zucchini steamed dumplings, and Dan Dan Noodles. Everything was delicate and delicious. Very fresh! We also enjoyed speaking with our server. She was so nice and eager for us to enjoy the food.
My husband and I live in Santa Monica and enjoy dumplings in San Gabriel Valley, Mason’s Dumplings in Highland Park, Din Tai Fung, and Pine and Crane.

A new dumplings restaurant in Silver Lake. This place has inner Mongolian style food and it’s very different from most southern Chinese dumplings in both the wrapping and the fillings. The XLB with any fillings was really good. The beef rice was really good. The beef was so tender I felt like it was cooked for a long time. Everything I tried was very good. Totally recommend!

We stumbled on Xibei Dumplings and are so glad we did. The beef and shrimp dumplings were delicious, the cold noodles with beef sauce were packed with flavor, and the braised pork was tender. Friendly staff and a chill, local vibe make this place feel like a true hidden gem

Very well made, fresh ingredients made by order. My favorite the pan fried beef dumplings I tried all dumplings and the scallions pancake, it was the best I ate on Chinese restaurant ever. Come and try. I’ll be back for trying the bowl, the Chinese burger and the crystal noodles. Great service. Thank you. I hope when I come back do not find crowded or maybe yes, and I’ll be glad to see you’re growing!

4 stars for the food – it was good! The dumplings are on the higher price but the skin is really good. My favorites were the Crystal noodle salad, and the lamb dumplings. I thought the wood was very good. The scallion pancake is okay and so is the cucumber salad.
3 stars for service – when I asked the server where the bathroom was, she pointed the wall and told me to read the sign. Also, the lady working at the cashier, took our order wrong and then blamed us when we told her that they got our order wrong.

Cute shop that opened up recently. We ordered the Shrimp and zucchini shaomai and the chicken mushroom shaomai – both hit the spot. We weren’t sure what to expect aside from it being a “dumpling” place but were pleasantly surprised by the dishes. You might think they’re soup dumplings from afar but they are not. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

This place was recently opened. We ordered lamb and beef shaomai, Chinese burger, and sour and hot soup. We also tried the crystal noodle and sweet corn pancake from the free tasting stand. The food is so good and authentic. I am a beef person, so like the beef filling more than the lamb ones.
Also, the chilli oil is very good!
This is a perfect place to go for Chinese brunch. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu! Also, I don’t think you need to tip! Another reason why to come back for more yummy shaomai in this economy!
