Honestly my food wasn’t that good. I had a gluten free pizza with sausage, onion and mushrooms with vegan cheese. Base price on my pizza was 30.00. There was this small crumbly tasteless sausage and so many gross baby onions chopped itty bitty. It was crazy. I ate two slices. My friend had the regular chicken pesto flat bread, and he said it wasn’t something he’d do again, but it was hella better than mine. I didn’t drink. He had two. service was quick and she was in attentive. Parking is either garages nearby or street with metered parking spots.
We also tried the Ace of Spades and Queen of Hearts mocktails, and wow—both were beautifully crafted and delicious. It’s so refreshing to find a place that gives mocktails just as much love as cocktails!
The tiramisu was the perfect ending—light, creamy, and rich in flavor without being too sweet.
Beyond the food, the service was phenomenal—friendly, fast, and super attentive without hovering. You can really tell the staff takes pride in creating a great guest experience.
The interior decor is modern and edgy, filled with interesting art pieces throughout. And don’t skip the basement—there’s a spooky little surprise that adds a quirky and unexpected twist to the visit!
And the pricing? Totally fair for the quality and vibe—Hanny’s feels upscale without being pretentious or overpriced.
This is definitely a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re out for a fun date night or just want to enjoy great food and vibes, Hanny’s delivers on all fronts.
We stayed for about four hours, and not once did we feel rushed to leave like some other locations we’ve been too and Dominique was attentive to us throughout the entire time we were there. The atmosphere was nice and moody with music playing the entire time. Music can get a bit loud while there, but that might just be us getting old. The cocktail menu had a nice variety and are strong. The food was nice and fresh, albeit might benefit with some optional salt or pepper on the side.
Overall, a fantastic place for a night out. Definitely worth visiting Hanny’s for an amazing atmosphere, great food, cocktails and service! I would highly ask for Dominique, as she will go above and beyond to make your visit as wonderful as I experienced Hanny’s!
When the bill arrived we were told the manager wasn’t willing to adjust the price since we knew about it prior to ordering. We were not asking for discount because the order was wrong, why do we have to pay full price for an sandwich that doesn’t contain all the ingredients. I would have been fine if the answer was a free beverage, a dollar of, anything. Nowadays customer service isn’t priority. Moved to Phoenix a year ago, was told by a lot of locals to check this place out due to the “vibe”. Checked it out won’t be back. Eating out costs too much these days to begin with. I’m spending my money where I’m valued.
The location is really cool because it’s an old department store from the 1940’s.There are a lot of cool decorations and spots to take photos throughout the building.
The cocktails on the menu are solid (would recommend huckleberry lemonade)and the bar is well stocked so they can make a variety of drinks.
I think the food is a real standout, the airliner chicken is honestly one of the best chicken dishes I’ve had and the sidewinder fries are a tasty and unique spin on a classic side (top tier drinking food).
Great for a fun night out on the town!
