I liked how they offer chicken wings and bite sizes boneless wings.
Their waffle fries were tasty. I just love waffle fries in general.
You could taste the seasoning on the tenders, flavorful. Tenders were juicy.
Not really enough heat in my opinion.
I ordered the HOT level and I didnt break a sweat. I usually do though, even eating a flavor like Asian Zing.
Their tenders are pretty small, which really surprised me compared to Daves Hot Chicken and Nashville Hot Chicken. That was a disappointment.
Their Messy Sando was definitely sweet in flavor. No heat.
I should’ve ordered a Sando and not the messy.
I did love their Hangry Sauce. Super savory and delicious dipping sauce.
Would I try it again, for sure but maybe not the tenders this time around.

I’ll start with, the sandwich I had was not traditional Nashville hot chicken. It was spicy BBQ sauce on a chicken breast. I don’t know if I missed it on the menu, but it wasn’t right.
That said, the flavor was fantastic! The sauce(s) on the sandwich and the slaw worked perfect together. The crunch on the chicken was perfectly done as well. The waffle fries with the ranch were solid too. I could eat a ton of those!
Unfortunately, I got a “woody breast” and about a third of the breast was practically inedible. If you don’t know that term, look it up. It’s common and doesn’t negatively affect the chicken itself, it’s just an off-putting texture.
Prices were decent, location is good, the music was a bit of an odd choice.
Over all, 4/5.

The chicken wings and sandwich were just ok. Small portions for high prices. The “mac and cheese” portion was maybe big enough for a newborn and cost $4.99,crazy. The food was barely warm as well. There are better chicken places elsewhere,for much cheaper.

GO TO DAVES HOT CHICKEN INSTEAD! I gave this place a second chance. Six months ago, I received really bland, unseasoned chicken strips. Yesterday, I felt like getting some strips and decided why not give them another shot. My order was over 100 dollars, and my guests were thrilled to try their chicken and waffles. I picked up the order and didn’t check the bag because I trusted they’d made sure the extra sauces I paid for were in there. What a mistake. Seriously. I cannot express how infuriating it was to get home and find that NONE of the extra sauces were in there, not even the strawberry (which is an extra charge) that was supposed to come with the funnel fries. Drinks were missing, and the Oreo shake was melted. It tasted like watered-down milk and a slight Oreo flavor. ALL of the chicken was dry, unseasoned (yes, even the spiciest one. It was seriously so mild.) and THIN. I actually think I’ve had better chicken fingers at Burger King. The waffles tasted of fried egg, and weren’t moist at all. It felt like I was biting into a stale gas station waffle. And finally, the banana pudding. After feeling extremely embarrassed that my guests couldn’t enjoy anything, I’d hoped at least that it would taste okay. I mean, who can mess up Banana Pudding? They did. And horribly. Absolutely NOTHING like the picture, no cookie crumbles, nothing. Just WATERY and SOUPY. True slop. Wouldn’t even feed this to the garbage can if it was a living, breathing thing. Please don’t eat here. I feel nauseous just writing this. I don’t want to think this could have been due to having a Hispanic name, considering my Irish friends seem to have had a great experience here previously. Honestly, feels likely to be racially motivated. Especially considering the times we are witnessing as a country right now.

I wish I had a picture to upload, but I’m pregnant and inhaled my sandwich too fast leaving work on a Monday I was craving a spicy chicken sandwich and thought I’d just go and home throw something together. Until I remembered there was a new is chicken place in IGH I’d been wanting to try. I ordered just a medium spicy chicken sandwich and mannnn that sandwich was so good. 8 oz of chicken was impressive and the spice and flavor was amazing. The sauce was great and I loved the slaw and the pickles. I’m itching to go back today, but ya know, everything in moderation. Anywho, highly recommend checking Hangry Joe’s out!

I was excited to try this place. For a chicken place and the price I would have expected better quality chicken. The chicken tenders were kind of tough and cold. The Korean fried chicken was good but still the texture of the chicken was weird. We ordered hot wings and they gave you a warning for the hot level but I couldn’t even detect and spice on them. We added a couple sauces to our order that we paid for and they didn’t come with or meal so we had to go ask for them. The fries were ice cold so I couldn’t even tell you if they are good. Showed up last min to this place and o was very impressed with the staff and service! Place was clean and the food was phenomenal! It’s by far the best chicken around Hands down ! I went on the opening day, thinking I would get free chicken for being one of the first 100 in line. I got a coupon for a free chicken sandwich….but could not use it that (let down).

I had lunch on 2/24/2026 at the Inver Grove location. My order was accidently given to another customer and the manager went above and beyond to make it right. Not only did he make sure my food came out as quickly as possible when he realized the mistake but he comped my entire meal. He also checked in several times to see how the food was tasting. I will definitely be back!
