While playing a round of golf a few years ago, three local businessmen struck up a conversation about the lack of family entertainment in Northeast Tallahassee. After they finished their round of golf, they got to work on creating a plan to develop something Tallahassee had never seen before. Their idea consisted of an entertainment center that was made up of 1/3 bowling, 1/3 monster game room, and 1/3 restaurant with some of the best food Tallahassee has to offer. We now proudly serve TWO locations – Tallahassee, FL and Dothan, AL.

I’m going to label this place as a bowling alley and structure my review around it being as such. The food is great, for a bowling alley. The service was incredible, for a bowling alley. The games weren’t groundbreaking, but were still fun. They should really consider turning one of the rooms in the back into a full on VR room if they can, it would do really well. The parking lot is shared with several other establishments, so while there is ample parking, you may be in for a little walk. That’s really the worst thing I can say about this place. I had no issues with service while I was there. The host and server were awesome. Just pay attention to the two different game cards when you go. One card can receive tickets for prizes while the other cannot. Go check Hangar 38 out if you are in the area. You’ll have a good time.

Second time hanging out at Hangar 38! Brooklyn was a fantastic waitress and was very helpful in getting us everything that we needed. Ms. Diane at the front desk was extremely kind in making sure we got the most of our experience. We did some bowling, ate and played games! The kids had a ton of fun. We definitely be coming back.

We were seated fast. The waiter was super nice and fast through the time we were there. The food however was such a disappointment. First we got the chips and salsa. Chips tasted like any other chip from a bag at a grocery store. The salsa was clearly refrigerated . The bowl and salsa were ice cold. Who serves cold salsa? Then the fries were very hot and fresh but they clearly rushed to get them to us as they were not cooked inside. The kids pizza was not bad but has chunky tomatoes. Not something my kids wanted. The kids Mac n cheese was a huge portion which was great but it tasted like they used plastic wrapped american cheese slices on it. As for the game area. It’s cheaper to get unlimited use for a certain time then just so many credits. But any machine that is just for winning tickets or claw game don’t work with the unlimited. So basically half the machines there you can’t use if you buy the unlimited play card option. I got the hour option and my kids were ready to go after a half hour. Overall it’s ridiculously priced. The food quality is just terrible for the high prices. $7 for a few chips and cold salsa. We got Two kids meals, one order of fries, 1 soda, chips and salsa, brownie desert and one hour card was $79.

We were doing a couples night out and came across this place. The establishment seems fairly new compared to everything else in the area. The food was really good however, the service was terrible. The wait to eat was about 2 hours, the bartenders seemed to have attitudes or maybe that’s just how they’re on a daily basis. It would definitely help if they also hired some more staff.

The boys and I LOVE Hangar38 We have the BEST time every visit, bowling and playing for hours on end. I especially love the bowling and the dance machine lol. I’m very excited to be going to my first Adult Bowling and Karaoke Night next week!!!!!

We came here because of the good reviews. It did not disappoint. The food was outstanding. The service was Excellent. The drink selection was very good. The arcade was fun. We did not bowl on this visit. The arcade and restrooms were modern and very clean. We highly recommend visiting.
