You would never know this place existed as it is inside the Mansfield Municipal Airport hangar, how fun! Breakfast is the way to go here but lunch is good too. The Crystal Cloud French Toast and Magical Pancakes are both delicious. The homemade corned beef hash is hearty and yummy. Service is friendly and efficient. A bonus of this experience is that you can watch small planes taking off and landing. There are not many places that come with such unique entertainment.

Diner vibes. Good option if you don’t mind waiting 20 minutes for a table. The food is tasty, the pancakes are fluffy, and the coffee is good. You’ll likely run into the owner walking around as well and checking in on you, too.

The restaurant can get a little cramped and loud inside with tables close together, but not so much so that you’re bumping elbows with your neighbors.

You’re inside the airport and you can occasionally see the puddle jumpers coming in and taking off, which is fun for any kids or kids-at-heart.

A really good if not great breakfast/brunch place. Food is well prepared and flavorful. It very much meet expectations. Great quality. The portions are also pretty big. (3 eggs on the eggs bene). A bit of an odd complaint but the water had an odd taste. Also very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

I’m biased. I’m in the aviation business so any time I get a chance I try to go to an airport restaurant.

FRESH fruit and cooked to order everything else. This place is off the charts. The grass is open, so bring your squadron of tail draggers. Park in the grass and walk right over.

Very kid friendly. This is a great neighborhood breakfast spot.

It’s also right off the bike path. If you drive there is plenty of parking. There is an over hang in case of foul weather for drop offs and pickups.

Huge clean bathrooms very wheelchair friendly.

Sometimes you even see the Boston Medflight helicopters taking off and landing.

Very cool place to eat.

I love hangar 12.

Quaint place to have breakfast and the place was busy. Portions were a good size. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and you can watch the small planes take off and land.

The eggs Benedict dish was great -poached eggs were perfect- and there was a nice sized piece of ham below the eggs. Side of bacon was delicious- good flavor and crisp without being overcooked. Hash browns were over peppered and not crisped.

The omelet was dry, and so was the toast. The eggs of the omelet were overcooked, and there was a single pat of butter between two slices of toast. Leaving the rest of the toast extremely dry. The home fries was great.

Server was having a tough day, but was doing her best. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5.

My husband and I have been twice so far and it’s absolutely wonderful. the atmosphere is relaxing and clean and the staff are super friendly. Even when they’re busy it feels cozy. The breakfast is some of the best I’ve had, probably my favorite place for breakfast in the entire area. And you can’t beat the prices with the delicious meals you get. My only upset is that we can’t go more often than we do. Update: I lost my husband on memorial day and recently went back to have a silent breakfast with the memory of my late husband. They were so wonderful and understanding. And the food is still so yummy. High recommended!

My husband, daughter and I were in the area and did a quick google search found Hangar 12. I saw it had 4.5 Star, so without reading the reviews we decided to stop by. When you drive up it’s a little confusing but it’s inside the airport center area.

I’m so glad we decided to go inside because the food was absolutely delicious! We got the Magical Pancakes, Florentine Benny, Irish Benny and the Stuffed French Toast.

The Magical Pancakes were really tasty. All toppings are cooked inside the pancakes. The caramelized bananas and walnuts really give it tons of flavor. The outside of the pancakes was not as flavorful but over all it tasted great.

The Florentine Benny was delicious too. The hollandaise sauce is really what makes this dish because other then that it’s really just poached eggs with chopped tomatoes and steamed spinach.

My favorite the Irish Benny! The corned beef hash and hash browns were super flavorful! The corned hash is home made and you can definitely taste the freshness. They give 3 eggs which I think it’s great because a lot of times with eggs Benny it’s usually too much bread and not enough eggs so I liked that a lot.

My daughter enjoyed the stuffed French Toast. I thought they were good, nothing over the moon but she really enjoyed them.

I don’t know why I ordered a side of spiced black beans lol. It said spiced and I expected something amazing but it felt like canned beans with paprika or spices on top. A waste of $3. But hey, I can’t expect everything to be perfect.

Service was quick, the waitress asked my husband if he needed anything else while I was in the bathroom with my daughter and when I came back to sit down, she asked me and said I asked your husband but I wanted to make sure you are also ok and got everything you need. I though that was excellent customer service.

Over all I thought it was absolutely delicious and there was a dish for everyone’s taste buds. I see the negative reviews are primarily on long wait times and food not cooked to peoples preferences. Food is subjective, I would give it a try and go on a day that’s not busy. I went on Tuesday around 10:30am and it was a full house but nothing that made the kitchen scream for help. Wade, the older gentleman I’m assuming is the owner was very sweet and accommodating and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back.

We waited longer than we should have. When I went in to see how much longer we were to wait I was told they tried to call but the number wouldn’t go through. If they only tried once, that’s not enough. If they tried more than once then they must have written the number down incorrectly.

We got 3 meals. Two of them were great. The third was not so great. The potatoes tasted like they were store bought frozen and just plain. The milk shake was great. The server was accurate and quick.

Edit: we visited again recently. There was no wait. The pancakes were good (and large) but the potatoes, both kinds, were bland and not very appetizing. The eggs were good (but had to be re-done as they had missed putting the cheese in the first time it came out).

I’m really not one to leave reviews, let alone negative, but this was a particularly bad food experience. I got a $14 avocado toast that arrived on a bread slice about the size of my palm (I have small hands) and despite being advertised on the menu as having greens, chili pepper flakes, and lime, it was literally just completely unseasoned out-of-a-container avocado spread on plain toast with an egg on top. No seasoning and genuinely quite unpleasant to eat. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast burrito and said the same, no seasoning at all and everything looked and tasted like it could have come from the freezer aisle at Costco. “Subpar ingredients beyond reason.” The positive part is that service was incredibly fast and the atmosphere being around the planes, with the aviation decor in the restaurant, was fantastic.
