From the moment I sat down, this restaurant took incredible care of me. The service was genuinely kind, attentive, and thoughtful without being overbearing — the kind that makes you feel welcomed, not rushed.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. The sushi was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. Every bite was balanced and intentional, and you can tell the chefs take real pride in their craft. The textures, sauces, and plating were all top-tier — easily some of the best I’ve had.
What really stood out, though, was how well I was treated as a guest. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my experience, and that level of care makes all the difference.
This is the kind of place you come back to — not just for amazing food, but because they truly value their customers. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be returning

This place was an absolute dream. We let the sushi chefs (Junior and Sed) decide everything for us, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Each piece felt intentional and special, and somehow every course was better than the last. The seven-piece nigiri sampler was incredible, the hand rolls were flawless, and I happily said yes to more nigiri afterward because it was just that good. Truly one of the most fantastic sushi experiences I’ve had.

Was a little hard to get in, the door was locked for some reason, and the host lady didn’t open it for us. We had to knock and then she came to open it. Then we weren’t sure if we were supposed to wait to be seated and stood there awkwardly while she was on the phone. She didn’t really acknowledge us and another server came by a little later and seated us. Not that big of a deal I just thought it was wierd. Food was amazing though, and the atmosphere. Great music selection, it’s like a going to a house set with sushi. We got two hand rolls, a nigiri set, the spider monkey roll, and the matcha creme brûlée. The hand rolls were good, but we definitely recommend getting nigiri and sushi over them. The nigiri set was the normal one, the upgraded one didn’t look much better for the price difference. The fish was delicious, very fresh. The added lime and lemon to various pieces were nice. The spider monkey roll was good as well, but I personally prefer the nigiri. The matcha dish was good, however it didn’t have much of a matcha taste. Was like a normal crème brûlées with fruit that was green.

We had the Utah Set, which included 2 – Johnny Utah hand rolls, Cali roll and a lobster roll as an appetizer. For dinner we split a Spider Monkey, Tokyo Cowboy, and a Tuna no crust. I loved them all and would definitely order again!!! First time having Wagyu on a roll and it did not disappoint.
For drinks we had a Japanese Mule, which is probably my new favorite mule bc if the citrus twist and I love love love it.
Our sever was Ledwig and he is an absolute slice of heaven!! So professional, kind, knowledgeable, and prompt.
We will be returning on our next visit to SLC

UPDATE: they charged me for the extra beer that was a mistake on their end. I returned the beer and got the one I originally ordered. However I checked my credit card statement and they added the extra beer I returned. Make sure to check your receipts when you come here.
Food was good. I got their lunch special which was 3 hand rolls for $20 and it came with soup and salad. I asked for an Orion beer and they have me Sapporo instead but they were happy to exchange it. I would return

Clean, fresh, good portion sizes. Our sushi chef, Saudi, was great! Took my brother for his birthday, and they also included a delicious crème brûlée and a fruit side on the house. We each got the 7 piece nigiri lunch special and it was great! Highly recommend!

THE BEST SUSHI AND A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! All of the staff were very welcoming and sweet! Our sushi chefs were the best! The girl sushi chef was so sweet and friendly and def will have us coming back! The food was amazing! We went for lunch and everything was perfect! We highly recommend the blue fin and the matcha creme brûlée!!! The restaurant is very beautiful and clean! They made us feel very special, went the extra mile and we are coming back for sure!!!

This is my favorite sushi place in the state. The fish tastes incredible and has a great texture. Go see Montse here, as she will make sure you get to try all the best stuff. I also love their gluten free soy sauce. They are great about working around allergies.
Also, watch for some of the events they throw. We went to a tuna cutting event here which was a great pairing of food and show.

I’ve gotta say the entire experience here was better than 5 stars. Our server Ludwig was very attentive and extremely helpful on deciding on what to choose to eat as a first time customer. There really isn’t anything on the menu that you can’t go wrong with. The Wagu Nigiri was soooo flavorful it just melts in your mouth. Also the hand roll options are all incredible. I was a big fan of the Johnny Utah Hand Roll. Lastly I can’t forget about the desert flight. The perfect sweet treats to finish off a fantastic meal.
