Absolutely a great stop! It was very busy when we arrived, yet the service was friendly and fast! Indoor is a great atmosphere with a Colorado vibe, but we sat outside because the weather was so great. Oh, and it was the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever eaten.

Sat outside under the canopy and enjoyed the fantastic views of the mountains.
The food was so great (large portions).
Regular burgers, salad, Elk Burger, Gazpacho and veggie delight sandwich.
We loved them all.
The veggie sandwich could have done with a little more seasoning, but that’s my preference.

The dessert….. heavenly. We had the peach cobbler and the Mud Pie. So, so delicious.
Definitely eat here!

Very cool old saloon!!! Staff was very friendly and prompt. The food was legit. Better to get there early than towards the afternoon as it gets packed. Prices are decent…..no gouging because you are in Silverton.

The only negative of the entire meal was the noise. It may have been where we were placed. Food was great with the Tomato stuffed Chicken salad and the Chicken Fried Steak. I would recommend it to anyone doing the train

We had the best experience here! The food is really great (try the Trueben – rueben with turkey, it’s the best!) and the staff were all very friendly. We met the owner, Ken, and had a quick chat with him. Great selection of food and good quality.

Excellent choice for a lunch stop while visiting Silverton, Colorado, superb Buffalo Chile and a side-by-side salad, Chicken Tortilla Soup with a side salad. So many great choices, deserts were awesome. We highly recommend Handlebars in Silverton.

I would have given this 5 stars if the bison burger wasn’t over cooked. Don’t get me wrong, it was very good. I take a star away for that, and the price. One beer + burger (overcooked) $31.41 Very small patty too. Drop the prices a bit and I’d come back. Just not worth the price. I was very hungry.. I usually never add the fixins, but I needed to, to get a solid meal from it.
