Reviews
The flavors from the food were incredible. The steak we ordered was a little disappointing but everything else was so good we didn’t mind.
We’ll definitely be going back.
The attention to detail in the sauces and accompaniments alongside great quality proteins for all the dishes we had were wonderful. The cocktails are also unique and delicious. We would absolutely recommend booking a reservation and eating at Handle on your trip to Park City!
The stone fruit toast was delicious – love the mixup of having different tomatoes and the lightly grilled stone fruit.
The pork belly bok choy was a great dish – love the grilled then stir fried texture and the hit of extra acidity with pickled enoki mushroom.
Mushroom bolognese also was a huge hit for me and the wife. The chile oil added a nice little hit at the end. Somehow this dish will be the one I crave the most.
Thank you Dex for the amazing hospitality. The way you walked us through every item and how to make the most of our trip in Park City was super memorable.
Also shoutout to Caleb for coming out and explaining each dish and sharing what places to eat around the area. Extra points for explaining to us about Espelette!
I highly recommend you check this place out.
Unfortunately, the hostess was incredibly rude, impatient, and clearly unhappy to be there. First impressions matter, and hers was bad enough that I took off a star just because of that. It’s disappointing when one person at the front can negatively affect what was otherwise a really nice dinner.
That said, I would still definitely recommend Handle — just be prepared to get past the hostess first.
Cauliflower
Sweet chili glaze | sriracha vinaigrette | cilantro
Well executed and enjoyable, but extremely common. This is an easy, widely replicated dish with nothing distinctive or regionally inspired.
Pork Belly
Whipped goat cheese | local apples | beets | pecans
Good flavor, with the pecans providing welcome texture. The goat cheese felt unnecessary and heavy—Park City seems overly reliant on it, and this dish would have benefited from more restraint.
Softshell Crab
Singaporean chili sauce | crispy garlic | green onion
Boring and poorly presented. The flavors lacked punch, and the dish never came together.
Caesar
Chicories | pecorino | duck-fat croutons
Noticeably funky aroma. The croutons were oddly styrofoam-like, adding novelty rather than pleasure.
Fried Chicken
Honey butter | cucumber slaw | pickles
Overly greasy and unbalanced, lacking refinement.
Beer Program
A canned Offset Glossy IPA (released 11/14/25) was served despite being over 30 days old and drinking malty and tired. Beer freshness should matter at this level.
Service
Excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely hospitable.
Space & Layout
The layout is awkward and unacceptable for a high-priced restaurant. No bathroom inside the dining space—guests must exit and walk to an adjacent building. Split dining areas and an exposed kitchen door further disrupt the experience, especially for a menu featuring steaks near $98.

Overall
Handle leans on the idea of mountain chic without delivering creativity, local innovation, or strong execution. Safe dishes, flawed layout, and premium pricing make the value hard to justify. Strong service is the lone bright spot.
