Handi was wonderful for lunch when I went! I missed having a good Indian buffet and Handi has hit the spot! We came right at 12 and everything was ready, clean and freshly hot! Tandoori chicken was perfectly crispy! I cannot wait to go back for more!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Handi Indian Cuisine – Greenville, SC
Handi is hands-down my favorite spot for authentic Indian food in Greenville. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff always make you feel like a valued guest.
Their Korma is absolute perfection – rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being overpowering. The Tadka Dal is comfort in a bowl, with the perfect balance of spices and a soulful, home-cooked feel. And for dessert, the Kheer is the perfect finish – creamy, lightly sweet, and fragrant with cardamom.
Whether you’re craving classic Indian comfort food or want to explore new flavors, Handi delivers every time. It’s a place I always look forward to coming back to.

We knew Handi from downtown and have not been disappointed at the new location either. As it is not my favorite Indian restaurant it is still very flavorful and tasty. There are no free appetizers which I found a bit disappointing. Some dip and bread would have been nice. But overall a good experience.

Stopped here for lunch buffet today at 1330 (30 min before closing). Service was attentive and quick. Plates removed, water filled, checked in frequent but not obtrusive. Vegetarian and meat options with appetizers and dessert. All tasty and flavorful. It is not the same as other places in town, but appreciated the different and depth of flavors. Will be returning soon for another date lunch.

We’ve missed you. The BEST Indian food in the Upstate. The lunch buffet offers 4 vegetarian options and 4 meat selections. The pakora was amazing. Plates were cleared quickly and our glasses were never empty. We got to talk to the owner. Very nice person. Looking forward to many delicious meals.

Tonight we decided to visit the restaurant. We used to really enjoy Handi when it was downtown and had several great experiences there. Unfortunately, it seems to have gone downhill. The portions were extremely small, and we paid $98 for a meal that was both underwhelming in size and bland in flavor. That was especially surprising, as Indian food is typically known for being bold and flavorful. I truly hope they’re able to turn things around, otherwise it may risk the same fate as its original location.

They clearly label the dietary restrictions of their food now, at least for the buffet. The service is as great as ever. The price is quite steeper now, especially considering their offering compared to their contemporaries, but their food offerings are really good. I’ll say this, this is the best Indian buffet in Greenville for naan, palak (a.k.a. saag), and kheer. Their hot sauce is 1/4th a jalapeno.

We celebrated our 37th Valentine day at Handi’s today. Seema and her husband, Sukhdev, create a relaxed experience with the cloth settings, the atmosphere, and the meal. Also relaxing is the cost.. very reasonable.

The buffet is great! We tried EVERYTHING!
There was nothing that we didn’t love, so it’s hard to pick favorites. But I’d say mine were the tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala and the channa masala. They have the best onion chutney and tamarind chutney I’ve ever had. Also the kheer and mango lassi are perfect choices for a sweet tooth.
