We were so happy to eat here. Food was simple, no BS, just good.

The City of Kingston’s local gem! This place has been here since before I was born. I can remember coming here with my grand parents 25 years ago and eating.
I haven’t been here in probably 5-7 years and as soon as you walk inside you feel right at home. The waitresses are so welcoming and sweet.
I knew before I even got there what I was going to order. It has to be the Handee Burger which is a mini burger very similar to a Krystal burger, but I’ll argue these are better. The loaded chili dog and the grilled chicken sandwich were also very good. The tater tots and fries were also great.
I have nothing bad to say about my dining experience there, and I will definitely come back sooner than 5-7 years.

Small diner! Family friendly. The staff are professional and polite. Best burger I have ever had. Service is fast and the atmosphere is good for small friendly lunch meetings or to meet up with friends. They also have a drive thru window. Will definitely go back again when I’m in this area! The only downside is that they are open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM. Closed weekends and for special events. Breakfast and lunch are delicious here!

What a great little treasure of a restaurant in Kingston! I stopped in just before noon and it was busy. There was one open table and a seat at the counter. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait a few minutes for a table. Even with that, my food was ready really quickly. I ordered the #1 Handee Burger meal but I got onion rings instead of fries. That made it a bit more expensive but the onion rings were amazing! The Handee burgers were slider style so they were small and it came with four of them. The server (and everyone working there actually) were very friendly. The Handee burgers were very tasty and worth a try if you’ve never been. I would love to stop in again sometime to try their breakfast food. They also have a drive through that stayed pretty busy.

You’re depriving yourself of a great meal if you skip the opportunity to eat at Handee Burger! I had the pleasure of coming in during breakfast hours and I was left amazed and satisfied. The price is more than fair for the quality and care that go into the preparation and execution. I’m a chef by profession and I know fresh ingredients when I see and taste them. I had the Bulldog and my meal companion had the Meat Lovers breakfast. My bulldog had a side of hashbrowns with cheese and the meat lovers platter had toast, eggs, ham, bacon and bologna substituted for the sausage. Understandably they changed 1 piece of sausage for a half piece of bologna but we sprang for the difference and got a whole piece and was worth every penny. Everything was cooked PERFECTLY. I was harkened back to the days of my youth when my mother would lay a plate down in front of me on Saturday morning. This place really brought a smile to my face and I’m already talking about how the hour drive it took me to get here is worth every minute. You can’t go wrong here as I see the place filled with locals as I sit here writing this, and the consistency is evident with every plate. It gives off a down home grassroots feel and you can’t tell that is exactly what the place embraces and is PROUD to be. 10/10 would recommend stopping here, and would feel comfortable and confident referring any of my loved ones to stop in for a meal. It’s the place to be!!! I only review the best and most amazing places, anything less than that isn’t worth your time or mine so when you see a review from me, you can guarantee it’s going to be 5 stars all the way across!
