truly a 7/10. While i really like the people and atmosphere, the ayce price is always changing and the food quality is hit or miss. ive been a couple times now and was overall impressed by the uniqueness. the seafood taste fresh but its the toppings that makes it not enjoyable. 1) sometimes theres way too much sauce/ cream cheese that you cant taste the fish (nachos, temaki). 2) idk if anyone else has this problem but the seaweed wrapper is too chewy and hard to swallow ive never had this issue before eating sushi and i eat it a lot, i end up having to spit it out on the plate and feel bad about doing that. 3) also maybe including all ingredients on the all you can eat menu i tried the ceviche and my throat was swollen for 2 days, turns out its made with orange which im allergic too, found out today it had orange.

I do recommend trying to see if it is your cup of tea, and highly suggest checking if the AYCE is on sale it seems more like a $35 value vs regular price $42, reason being a lot of the special items include a lot if rice and cream cheese so you will get full fast before trying a large variety of items. Not to mention theres a AYCE across the street for $29 and so many others popping up wit AYCE $20 lunch and dinner $30. So i’ll probably rotate between places.

I would try the djos and hot special roll those are my favorite! I the nachos were nice too however my experience had too much sauce but i would try again. I did like the side sauce with the fried salmon bites but the cooked salmon tasted weird/stale maybe i had a bad batch.

Note: in my pictures you can see the carpaccio from different days one had enough sauce and then the next one didn’t have enough and it didn’t taste like anything just cold since several slices did not have anything. would be nice to see yellowtail on the menu instead as its better for carpaccio a lighter fish and absorbs the sauce better.
