Seemed like everyone came in pointed at the poke bowl sign on the wall and ordered that. We ordered 2 plates instead: the Ahi Fever (which in hindsight we could have shared) and the Furikake Seared Ahi Plate. You know how the photos can look so much better than the actual food? This is not the case at this food joint. The food is spectacularly presented and is high-quality and fresh, fresh, fresh. What also surprised me is that the rice options were white, brown or sushi rice. Whoa, I need to come back and get a poke bowl on bed of sushi rice and try those amazing toppings. We will definitely be back. The seating is a bit limited and we were blessed to score the table for 2 in the corner in spite of the busy lunch rush.

OMG I’m in poke heaven. Came here for lunch with 7 people. Everything was so delicious – fresh & tasty. Portions were generous. I can eat their food everyday, so good. Ahi Fever box, Tako bowl, salmon bowl, ahi bowl, etc.

Holy salt seas as the salmon was very seasoned with the ocean I couldn’t taste the fish past the salt. I really was hoping it was going to be good being a bit pricey but we’re in Hawaii Kai so it’s expected but I was so disappointed. The poi helped subside the over amount of salt that was added to flavor the salmon. I did add the cucumber to help balance the saltiness.

We stopped by to grab some food after hiking the Koko Crater Stairs trail. I got the Ahi fever plate and everything was delicious! Really enjoyed the variety of textures and fresh veggies and pickles. Service was very friendly as well!

Omg! We’re from So cal and happened to stumble upon the best poke I’ve ever eaten! We were going to get a shave ice at Shimazu’s, and saw a bunch of people in line at Hanapa a 2, so we decided to try. I kid you not, this is one of the best poke I’ve ever had. They give you a choice of rice, the tuna was so fresh. My first mouthful was a very pleasant surprise! I didn’t expect it to taste that good! Our only regret, you’re only in Hawaii. ☹️
ps- we got shave ice too. Yummy!!

Both poke and fish dip were phenomenal!!! I think we waited like 5 minutes for our bowls. Will definitely come back when I get to visit the island again.

Spicy ahi bowl was just okay. The poke itself was decent, but nothing special. The rice was a bit dry—supposed to be sushi rice, but it tasted more like regular white rice. Not sure if the fish was fresh or frozen; the menu either didn’t say or I missed, and it didn’t really taste super fresh either.

Also, not sure why some reviews said this was the “best poke on the island.” I’m guessing they don’t get much fresh fish where they’re from. Felt a bit overhyped in my opinion.

All in all, it’ll suffice for the area. If im in the area and want poke id stop by—but definitely not something I’d go out of my way for.

The best poke you can get! They even weigh the fish or tako before adding all of the onions so you get more seafood, so thoughtful. They have the best flavors that you cannot find elsewhere like the garlic or miso. So ono (delicious)! We also love the misoyaki salmon which you can even get as a salad.

One of the best poke bowl I ever had. We went with the restaurant suggestion and got the Ahi Fever with Namasu and it’s awesome.
