Decided to try Diane’s Soul Food restaurant while traveling because I saw they sold soul food. Unfortunately the chef had an emergency therefore we were not able to order off the soul food menu. The food from the lunch menu was awesome and truly enjoyable.

Nice people, but service was kinda slow and disorganized, the food that I ordered was also underwhelming. My wings were smothered in a gallon (I am exaggerating) of barbecue sauce. I had to wipe each one with a paper napkin before eating it. My cheese burger wasn’t good either, the bun was cold and the burger patty was way too small 1/8 to be exact, I asked for extra onions and got a very light amount the size of a pickle slice. The price is way to expensive for what you are getting. Paid over $15 for the basket that didn’t come with fries? Why doesn’t a basket have fries and it is listed on the menu under baskets, that states, ‘with fries’? I was very disappointed in the quality and portion size, I may or may not go back. It’s kinda hard to take them serious as they seemed sorta laxed and off-course.
