Hanami in Cresskill is hands down my go-to spot for sushi and Chinese/Japanese food. I literally order from here or eat here 3–4 times a week and it never disappoints. Their delivery is so fast it honestly feels like they’re cooking the food in the car on the way over.
Every order arrives fresh, hot, and perfectly made, and the best part is the consistency—it never tastes different. Same amazing quality every single time, which is rare these days.

We were the only people for lunch there on Saturday 1.30pm- no wonder ) place is smelly ,sticky tables , long wait for food , shrimp dumplings dough is old and chewy ,fried rice extremely oily w some aftertaste ,orange beef was scary to even try. Asked for sauté broccoli got some frozen florets swimming in sweet sauce ! They add on 20% right away and didn’t take off beef or broccoli even tho they were told those dishes r not tasting good at all and no one ate it . Not to mention the service – low quality and low terrible ambiance

Hanami has excellent Chinese & Japanese food! The sushi is fresh and delicious. The Kung Pao Chicken and General Tsao’s Chicken were both good.

DELICIOUS SUSHI AND CUISINE, A GO TO IN BERGEN COUNTY. Amazing, fresh fish that pairs perfectly with their spicy mayo. I loved the orange beef, super flavorful and crispy. My favorite dish was definitely the sesame noodles- I got them cold, and they were incredibly refreshing with the slivers of cucumber and yummy sauce. Owners are also so so sweet and staff is wonderful. Would 100% go again!!!

Hanami Restaurant in Cresskill N.J. creates delicious dishes, you will forever crave, once you taste them, including their Chicken Pine Nuts lettuce plum sauce, California Uni is delicious oceanic, sweet, savory, salty, fresh Sushi and Sashimi, ginger and wasabi. I had such a wonderful dining experience at Hanami! The sashimi here were probably the freshest I’ve ever tasted and they look just as good. The rolls were flavorful yet refreshing, I especially loved the yellowtail. The service was so fast and amazing, my party asked the waiter for recs because we had no idea what to order but the suggestions were spot on just based on what kind of fish we wanted to eat. The overall restaurant atmosphere is calm and inviting, I would highly recommend this place!

Hanami is our go to family place. The freshness of the food, the service and the ambiance make it a perfect place any day any time. The crispy beef and the fried rice are the must haves. While the sushi is so fresh you will be asking for more. The service is spectacular , they make sure you get exactly what you asked for and how you asked for it. Finally the ambiance is perfect, never to loud but never to quiet. Just perfect !! It’s BYOB so make sure you bring enough as you never want to leave. Enjoy.

Love their lunch special cashew chicken – it comes with a generous portion with rice and soup. I always add a roll for $5. Their crispy sesame chicken is also a go-to. Great Chinese food!
