I DON’T recommend this place honestly.
A couple of things that really bothers me are:
1. The surf clams are mostly unclean. I ordered a batch of it and they are yellow with visible sticky stuff on them…Never seen this at other sushi places.
2. The beef skewer looks good but is tasteless.
3. The rare beef tataki is not fresh and taste weird.
4. The sushi rolls, to my great surprise, are even worse. I’ve never imagined any place that can make sushi taste bad…they are all weirdly sour and sweet in some ways and they all taste similar. To play it safe, we ordered some of the safest options on the menu, like grilled beef ribs and hand rolls, but even those were very terrible.
As for sashimi, it’s okay. The staff are friendly.
With the same price, I can enjoy a reasonable and tasteful dinner at Fusion Sushi.
Added: I added the photo for the beef tataki, it tastes weird.
And no, I’m NOT your fellow professional in your industry, I’m just a customer going around the city trying different sushi places. In fact, I came to your place because I read good reviews about you, so I actually expected a good experience better than others sushi ayce places. Please don’t judge every bad comment as the attack from your fellow professionals.

Hana Sushi (Sirocco)
We had all you can eat sushi dinner here and it was very delicious! Eve thing tasted fresh and well prepared. Portion sizes were good. The Oshi sushi are quite yummy! The soups came out piping hot, just how I like it.
Staff are very friendly and prompt with service.
The location decor is welcoming and I like booth style so it was nice see lots of booths available for seating.
Definitely would come back 🙂

Hana Sushi is hands-down one of the best sushi spots in Calgary. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always go above and beyond to make every visit perfect. I recently forgot to order an item on New Year’s Eve and they rushed it out without hesitation—seriously amazing service.
The food quality is off the charts. The seared salmon is a must-try, the sweet shrimp is unbelievably fresh, and their ginger beef is one of the most underrated dishes on the menu. Very clean, food came out quick, good portions, the one man who was bringing out food and clearing plates was AMAZING at his job (I wish I got his name), he deserves to be recognized!
However, the girl who was the waitress seemed like she had a lot going on as the only waitress in there, we had to ask for refills on our drinks or asking for anything else, there was no follow up inbetween our meal to see if everything was ok. Overall happy though, Will be back, enjoyed the food!
