We had a lovely evening at Busaba in Longmont. Dylan C. was our server and was helpful when we asked about various entrées. All the staff was kind and welcoming, with several staff members checking on and helping us. Everything we ordered was mild, and all the food was flavorful with a subtle heat.

The Som Tum salad, which was refreshing and zesty, with crunchy strips of fresh green papaya and carrot, green beans, and lettuce topped with peanuts. The dressing was spicy, sour, sweet, and salty. I thought the pungent garlic taste was perfect, but it was a bit too garlicky for my spouse.

The Tom Kha soup had an aromatic, creamy, rich base. The cabbage, mushroom, red onion, and chicken were all flawlessly prepared, and the dish was delicious.

The Garlic Pepper Shrimp was packed full of flavor. The shrimp and the steamed broccoli were all cooked perfectly.

The Cashew Nut Chicken was sweet and savory with fresh vegetables. Combined with the roasted cashew’s buttery crunch, it was another delicious and flavorful meal.

The Sticky Rice with Mango beautifully balanced the creamy, sweet, and slightly salty flavors. The sweet mango with the rich, creamy, soft, and chewy rice was a great way to end our meal.

We look forward to returning to Busaba with their fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and wonderful staff.

The service is a mix of veterans and really attentive new servers. The kitchen is easy to see from the dining room. The mild was pleasantly spiced, warm without taking my face off the way some Thai places can be.

The Tom Kha Gai was lovely, rich with coconut, a good thick broth, full of mushrooms, scallions, fat, perfectly cooked shrimp (which we added to the order), cabbage for an unexpected but welcome crunch, and the usual spice base for the traditional soup.

The Panang curry was wonderful, lots of super fresh vegetables, tender slices of chicken, and again spiced appropriately. I have never had a Rama before that wasn’t a Swimming Rama with spinach. This Rama has a lovely array of vegetables, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, topped with grilled chicken and the rich Rama peanut sauce. So good.

And the grace note was the mixed in whole grains with the brown rice. It was delicious as a bonus.

Would highly recommend. It’s obviously Thai food that has been modified for the freshest ingredients that can be easily found here. While it’s not entirely traditional, it is delicious and made with a great deal of care and pride in the freshness of what they put into the dishes.

One snowy afternoon we stopped into Busaba and what a delightful experience. Truly, food was superb and service was excellent. I had the green curry and my partner the drunken noodle, we shared and both enjoyed each dish a great deal. The green curry I ordered “hot” which really did have a kick!

I’ve now been to the Busaba in Longmont several times and I have to be honest, It’s OK. This time my friend and I ordered appetizers and they were fine. The spring rolls were disappointing as it was mostly just lettuce and very bland. I used to love the Louisville location and was so excited when Longmont was getting our own location. However, I do feel there are stronger Thai options in town. We are very spoiled in Longmont and Busaba is going to have to work hard to earn their place.

The Thai food here is a cut above the rest. The intensity of delicious, authentic flavors are unmatched. I got a med+ heat and felt it was well balanced and not overwhelmingly hot. Go here for the food, not the atmosphere.

Delicious food! Love Pad Thai, hooky, pineapple fried rice, and Panama curry! Interestingly, not all food delivery services list hooky as an option, which is my new favorite from Busaba. Great food that does not disappoint!

We love Thai—the food here was good—spring rolls excellent. But during the course of dinner one of the staff brought out a bucket w a diluted cleaning solution. This person proceeded to mop the floor cleaning up around all the tables. As Thai restaurants are plentiful these days…I wouldn’t go back.

Me and my family went to this restaurant to eat out for my mother’s birthday. When we got inside, nobody was in there, it’s a cold night outside but when we got in there expecting some warmth we got an even colder experience (NO HEATER). Not only that the food is to overpriced for how bland and boring this food is, it’s not even as good as other Thai places we go but I will 100% not be going to this restaurant any time soon and will be sticking with my more warmer, affordable and actually taste good Thai restaurants.

I thought it was solid! I always like to try a couple of things when trying a restaurant I hadn’t ordered from before. The Green Curry and Pad Thai were both 4 star good.

Green curry- It was actually honest to the Thai medium spice level. Really good flavor! It almost seemed like it had a bit of an Indian twist to the more traditional Thai flavor. I kept thinking about Saag Paneer when I was eating it. Love the use of Thai basil in this dish! Different and very good. Rice, however was a bit dry and should have had a little more water during the cooking process. Some of the grains were actually crunchy even, not throughout, but some. Perhaps the top layer needs to be discarded for the better stuff underneath?
Pad Thai- Great flavor, although just the slightest bit dry. I would recommend serving with a lime wedge. I added a little of the green curry to the Pad Thai to give it some extra moisture and it was not a bad decision!

All in all a couple of tweaks, but absolutely 4 star. I can’t think of a Thai place in Longmont that I like better, although there are several in Boulder.
