Hana Bowls and the wonderful owners deserve higher than 5 stars! I found this place based on the delicious photos from other reviews while we stayed out at JJ’s Farm in Hana. My daughter and I stopped on our way to Waianapanapa State Park. The truck is adorable, as is the couple who own it. They were super friendly and so patient while we took forever to make our choices – even allayed my concerns about whether the spirulina powder would overpower the bowl (it wouldn’t, they assured me!). I ended up going with the classic Hana bowl and my daughter got the Cacao bowl. The bowls are created beautifully and clearly lovingly. They seem to enjoy what they do. Both were absolutely delicious, packed with flavors and toppings (layered in there, too, not just all on top for the pictures!). We also got an iced coffee and an iced coconut latte (I think – it was my daughter’s drink and it was on the specials menu but they were able to accommodate her lactose intolerance with almond/coconut milk at my request). Both were perfect.

We LOVE Hana Bowls!! So much that we went there two mornings in a row with our friends. The team that works there is so friendly, the truck is beautiful, and the food is so good. Highly recommend the Hana Bowl specifically, and it’s very good with protein too!

Seriously the most delicious Acai bowl I have ever had. If you are in Maui I highly recommend you go give them a visit. Not only is it so good but the owners Maddie and Keoki are the nicest people you can ever meet.

HEAVEN ON EARTH. If you’re in or around Hana, you must stop here. Not only are the acai bowls, smoothies, and coffee delicious, but the owners, Maddie and Keoki, are the real deal. They will treat you like ohana from the moment they meet you. They built their place from the ground up and have poured their heart and soul into Hana Bowls. You can taste the love in every bite. Their hours shift, so follow them on Instagram to make sure they’re open! Stop here, add macnut butter, and thank me later! P.S. they put granola on the bottom of their acai bowls, too!

We went here two days in a row it was so good! I’d never had an Acai bowl before so this was more than just a “visit” … it was an experience! I tried different things both days and both were phenomenal. It was the friendliest service we encountered during our Island stay and it was a wonderful way to start our day . I’ll definitely be looking into Acai bowls back home, although I’m sure they won’t even come close to comparing!

I am so glad we arrived in Hana just in time for their opening! The owners were so sweet and the bowl was by far the best I’ve ever had! The fruit was incredibly fresh and their ice coffee was delicious. If you are going through Hana make sure you stop here!!

This is by far the best Acai Bowl on the island and beyond. It’s just the right balance between granola, fruits and acai. The owners are super sweet and kind. They harvest from their own garden which is right behind the shop, which explains why they sometimes can‘t open or provide all the options. Definitely coming back when I visit Maui.

Seriously, guys, YOU HAVE TO STOP TO HANA BOWLS, coz if you don’t, your Road to Hana trip will be incomplete. First of all, the Acai bowl we had was amazing. Fresh ingredients, well prepared, beautiful and tasty. Second, but most importantly, the owners are super nice. Maddy and her boyfriend were welcoming and friendly. Sometimes you meet people you immediately want to be friends with…well, that’s how nice they are! Mahalo nui!
