The menu was expansive with a fairly priced tiered selection, and the optional sushi and noodle dishes you could order with the AYCE table grill was so nice! The garlic noodles were delicious as was the bulgogi, thin brisket, and pork belly.
The staff was on top of things with refills on drinks and sauces, and unlike most places it seemed like you could order well over 3 meats at a time (at the risk of a leftover charge if I recall correctly).
We had a great, hearty meal and would definitely come back. I do prefer quieter places in KTown though.
PS: one of our party forgot their keys and they had them safe and sound when we came back to get them 10 minutes before listed closing time. Thanks!
Some things to note:
* Surprisingly high-quality sushi included; better and fresher than some sushi spots.
* Meat was incredibly fresh and tasted great .
* For our party of 3, they changed the grill grates four times during the time we were there! This is a huge plus because unlike other places that leave you with charred grease from reusing the same grates over and over, this place actually replaces it consistently.
A must-visit for top-notch Korean BBQ, great service, and incredible value. I will definitely visit again. 5/5.
So I came from out the mall because I parked in the parking garage by Macy’s. And I walked up at first I thought it was only bar seating and it didn’t seem like many guest out there so I stopped and asked to see if they were open and one of the workers stopped what he was doing and said yes they guided me through the double doors and to the front desk. The girl who was on the front fest greeted me with a smile and sat me down immediately and she told me to take advantage of the lunch special which I had 20 minutes left to order. I walked in at 3:35 ish so lunch ended at 4pm. My waiter was very kind and attentive. All the worker’s seemed happy to be there. What I order was the lunch special meat combo (marinated short rib + brisket) which was $18.50, served with white rice and banchan sides. I also ordered off the lunch special. All in all my friends was great. The workers kept checking on me different servers as well and all the dishes that I was done with and stacked and put them to the side. They came and collect those and I was able to take all my food to go.

While the meat and KBBQ is what draws people in, I really come here for the other stuff like the appetizers. Its great to have a limited sushi menu to break up the continuous plates of meat and they have plenty of other standout appetizers like the Dynamite Chicken Wings, Crispy Spicy Tuna Rice, Fried Chicken Dumplings, Kimchi Fried Rice, and my personal favorite the Crab Wontons.
They give you large portions obviously to fill you up so you dont eat too much meat but thats the fun of it, if you don’t come here to just guzzle down as much meat as you can, it becomes a really nice variety experience.
When we go we order the miso soup first thing. I’m not a big fan of miso soup, but I actually love eating the soup here and it helps kickstart and settle all the food we plan to eat.
For our meats, the go-to is the bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, and the brisket. All really good, and the seasoning on the spicy bulgogi is flavorful. It can be chewy depening on the cut and how fatty it can be, but still gold.
The star of this place is the sushi. I fell in love with the spicy salmon roll, it’s so simple yet my favorite. The salmon tastes so fresh and the texture is divine. In a way, it melts in your mouth. The spicy tuna roll comes in as a close second and the portions are perfect. The rainbow roll is perfect if you like yellowtail. There really aren’t any other sushi rolls that feature the yellowtail, so the rainbow roll is the next best thing to enjoy each type of fish in one roll. There’s also the truffle salmon roll, unfortunately I do not recommend it with the truffle oil because of how pungent it is. It masks the flavor of the salmon too much. Unless you really love truffle oil, I’d say omit the oil when ordering.
Of course, we have the side of rice to compliment the meats. The cucumber salad is refreshing on the side, but there’s too much garlic than needed for my taste. Also love the kimchi and pickled radish complimentary on the table. I’m not a fan of kimchi, but yet again this place does not disappoint and I do enjoy eating it as well. Definitely coming back here for my kbbq needs!
The service is steady, they don’t leave you alone for too long and they check on you at the right times. And they’re easy to catch for any quick questions or additional orders. The inside and outside are nice, and they have TVs set up to watch any games that are on for the night.
I ordered the spicy tuna rolls, spicy chicken and whole shrimp. It came with Kimchi, delicious sauces, broccoli, salad and rice. The spicy combination of heat with the dipping sauces was very tasty. Look at the photos. The chicken and shrimp not only looked good but tasted even better. I really enjoyed the entire cooking all the food at your table experience. This is the first time that I have cooked the food at a table. I like extra well done so it was perfect for me. If you need to cut the meat. There are scissors at the table to do so. I really enjoyed the cooking and could see how it would be a festive time for family and friends.
Han is located right in front of the Mall. Mall parking is plentiful. It is a 4-minute walk to the restaurant.
This place is packed on weekends. I went there at 3pm on Monday. There was plenty of people with enough tables. I will be back to Han BBQ in Burbank.
