Everything we ordered was very good and tasty. The red spice level numbers in the food descriptions were much tamer than we’d have expected, so anyone into spicy food should divide those numbers in half. The lo mein was nice and medium firm. Service was friendly and very quick. This and the East Village location are good places to eat.

This might be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Reservations at 6:30 on a Sunday, although plenty of seating thanks to massive space. Food was great. Our selection was on the spicier end (mung bean noodle with chili sauce, dry pot), but the chefs did an excellent job balancing spice with texture with other flavors. Service was one of the best (cleaned out oily plates, asked when we want our food to come out). And ambience is also elegant. Will come again!

This was recommended by a security guard outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art who said it’s the best in the city.

We ordered spicy garlic sauce chicken and braised beef noodle soup. This was faster than fast food!! It was hot and delicious with tender-crisp veggies, perfect noodles and meats.

Great value, attentive wait staff, excellent food.

We love this spot! Ain’t go wrong with Chinese food! We went on a weekday so it was not that crowded but we had early dinner, and the restaurant wasn’t that crowded but as soon 6pm hits, the place got packed. We had reservation. But no need if you are planning to visit not on a rush hour. I love how generous the servings were! Cumin Fries is a must try, not the usual fries you would usually have. We ordered fried dumplings too. General Tso’s chicken was good too! And eggplant stir fried would always be the best. When the place started to get packed, the servers were not enough to cover all tables. Good ambiance too.

I always love the food here. Take-out is always good and when you eat in it’s such nice experience. Service is always good, whether you come for the lunch special Monday – Friday from 11-3, or Happy Hour at the bar from 4-7, or sit down in the beautiful main dining room. Won ton soup is excellent and the Garlic style chicken has such an amazing flavor. What ever you order you can’t go wrong.

Was a walk-in on a Saturday night at eight, but this place is huge and we were seated within twenty mins! Noise levels on the lower end, even when the place was busy!

Our order was quickly taken by our friendly server, Jeevan, which included: Ginger Sour String Beans (nice and garlicy), Chicken Lo Mein, Veggie Fried Rice, Cumin Fries, Dry Pot Style (Chicken, and Tofu). Food was in-line with expectations and hit all the right spots! I wish it was a little spicy, and their 10/10 spice level is not that spicy! Excellent Sichuan food though in the UWS neighborhood. Menu slightly on the expensive side;

Will definitely be frequenting this place for their super quick service, and good food!

The food was delicious and there were multiple vegetarian options. You can tell them to make it spicy or not spicy depending on your tolerance. The Han dynasty in the downtown Brooklyn area is slightly better.

Overall decent. Some food is very very good like cumin lamb. Some is very average like sautéed string beans (wasn’t cooked through). Server was very nice but inexperienced and made a bunch of mistakes. The bus guy was super nice too and very on point. The deco is very beautiful

Han Dynasty UWS is a neighborhood gem. The food is consistently excellent, bold, authentic Sichuan flavors with just the right amount of heat. The dan dan noodles and dry pepper chicken are must-orders, and everything comes out fresh and perfectly seasoned. Our server Shubha was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations without rushing us. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. One of the best spots on the Upper West Side for real Chinese food. Always worth coming back.

The atmosphere was nice, we walked in and immediately got a table, the service was very quick and nice.
We got iced tap water and a tea pot for the table which was very nice and all of the dishes came very quickly
Me and my roommate got the dumplings in chili oil, the Dan Dan noodles and for entrees the garlic sauce style with pressed tofu
The only complaint is that the Dan Dan noodles weren’t as spicy as we expected (actually the entree was more spicy and it was supposed to be the opposite)
We also got two cocktails that were very tasty
The total was 81$ without a tip and with a lot of leftovers to take home
Overall a great experience!
