I’ve been coming here for years, at one point 1-2x a week, and the food is just so delicious and consistent every time. The service is great and attentive, dishes prepared fresh, and they’re quick despite being busy. The two guys working today handled a very busy lunch rush (every table booked) so well and didn’t miss a beat. They ran around bussing, setting up, serving, and stayed positive and attentive the whole time. Great job to the kitchen and whole staff, as always.

Out of curiosity, I tried my husband’s favorite lunch spot and he wasn’t lying.
The food was delicious and came out fast, even during busy hours.
The server was friendly and helpful.
I’m definitely falling in love with their Dry Pepper Style Fish

Absolutely, the tastiest dishes in the area. Once you stop by Han Dynasty, you will be hooked. Pictured is the Salt and Pepper style scallops cooked to perfection. The other is Hot Sauce style shrimp which lived up to the name. It is a must try if you are looking for a very spicy dish. Looking forward to my next visit.

Easily one of the best spots in South Jersey for Szechuan style Chinese. Szechuan style is by nature going to be spicy, and Szechuan peppercorns have a unique spiciness to them which may throw some people off. Highlights are the Dan Dan, Dry Pepper style, and the Dry Pot style. The service has always been reliably good and the tea served with every meal is a lovely compliment to the food. The decor could use a bit of an update, especially compared to the Old City location.

Best Chinese dishes in South Jersey. Huge portions. Fresh ingredients. Delicious sauces. Posting photos of their bok choy with mushrooms, Kung Poa chicken, and ginger shredded duck. Their dan dan noodles are the best. Their wontons are the most delicate I have ever had. If you are a kidney fan, or want to try a new dish, order the sautéed kidneys.

Great food and service! The sign on the door says Han Dynasty was rated one of the top 50 Chinese restaurants in the US, so I went in with high expectations. I’m happy to report that I left pretty satisfied! This BYOB has great variety of dishes to try with different meat and sauce combinations. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and the portions were great for family style sharing. We especially enjoyed the dumplings in chili oil and scallion pancakes as appetizers and I really liked the hot style chicken. My Mom and brother especially enjoyed the garlic style beef. We also had our choice of white or brown rice with our dishes which supplemented the meats and veggies well. The staff was also very friendly and made great recommendations for what to try. One complaint I have is that they don’t do anything to acknowledge birthdays, which is unfortunate because the family style portions lend themselves well to family gatherings such as birthdays. Another complaint is that I’ve had takeout from here before and it’s not as good (but still not bad!) as eating the food in-person. I’ve also been to the University City location and it’s noticeably grander with a bigger space, more comfortable seating, and a cocktail menu. The Cherry Hill Location is fine enough too; it’s just that the lights are a little dim and there was a pesky fly that wouldn’t leave us alone. Overall, I’d definitely come back to this location since it’s more convenient for me and I’m anxious to try some of their other dishes!!

We drove 3 hours just to eat here. Yes, it’s that good. We love it. The Dan Dan Noodles are tasty with a perfect umami flavor. Must admin they were a little different from the last time but tasty nonetheless. The dry fry style chicken customized with the addition of Sichuan peppercorns is to die for especially when paired with their vegetable fried rice with extra egg. We also tried the cumin style tofu and it’s the best tofu dish I’ve ever had. The texture on that tofu and the spicy cumin crust satisfies at so many levels!

Definitely coming back soon. If you have been here before you know what I’m talking about. If you’ve never been here before then I suggest you give it a go. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful experience dining here. The food was exceptionally good, showcasing great flavors and quality. However, the selection of drinks was lacking, leaving us with only water as an option. Despite this, the overall experience was very enjoyable.

I love Han Dynasty. I eat in Manayunk once a week, I’m addicted to the hot sauce beef. So a friend said you must try cherryhill Han… I’ll eat anywhere so I went last week. My wife live hot sauce tofu said it was better then Manayunk. For me though, the hot sauce beef I dream about…literally was good, but not as good as Manayunk. The sauce was slightly gelatinous. Beef was thicker. The sauce had beautiful fresh herbs, but a big pile of fresh garlic unlike Manayunk. So that threw me off. Still hot and great.
Their scallion pancake was great and great Dandan noodle. Go to Han support local!

Han Dynasty is a five-star trap for anyone trying to eat responsibly. You’ll go in with dignity and leave rolling yourself out like a dumpling. 10/10, will ruin my diet again.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that will absolutely wreck your self-discipline while simultaneously making you question everything you thought you knew about portion control, Han Dynasty is the one.

Every time I go, I promise myself I’ll be good, maybe just an appetizer, maybe a sensible main dish. Fast forward 45 minutes and I’m sitting there in a blissful food coma, realizing I’ve just eaten what can only be described as 2.5 meals.

The food is just that good. The spicy crispy cucumbers slap you awake with flavor. The vegetarian string beans make you rethink your relationship with vegetables. The dry pepper chicken should come with a warning label because once you start, you will absolutely not stop. And the black bean beef? It’s like a warm, savory hug that refuses to let you leave without unbuttoning your jeans.
