Had high expectations as I love the cart in New Hyde Park. However, this location has small portions and very oily meat. I got double meat in a combo over rice. It’s served in a compartmented tray, which means even smaller portions. For $13, I finished the platter easily vs. the NHP location would last me 2 meals.

I walked in today no one in the store 2 gentlemen behind the counter I say hello. No response. So I just stare at the man behind the he counter and he says “I’m listening”no greetings no hie may I help you actually it felt hostile like I was encroaching on their space. I told them that’s not customer service, I’m spending $ I don’t expect 5 star service. The LEAST I expect is “how can I help you?” I walked out and wished them luck. I shall never return.

The food is good but the portions are laughable with no consistency. Some nights you can barely close the lid , then other nights you’re basically getting half a portion you would from other Halal spots , like King Halal in Deer Park. Also they almost always run out of sides by evening time. Price isn’t cheap for halal and you get less food for more money. I keep giving this place a chance and I leave disappointed
