Ok this was my first time trying big man’s bbq. I been saying i was gonna try it cause I’ve tried every restaurant who has ribs and my favorite was Russell’s BBQ until tonight. I can taste the soul in the ribs and these are now my number 1 choice. The ribs were very soft and tender and falling off the bone plus the seasonings he uses were on point. I’ll definitely be back.

My only complaint is that I don’t have more money to eat here every meal! Dagggggum this is some good food! I’ve been here several times and they haven’t failed, not once. The brisket and pulled pork is always a go to! For what you pay you’d think “they gotta be losing money, these portions are huge!” From the daily smoked meats to hand made sauces, I can’t get enough!!

Yo this food was soooooo good. The ribs were tender, the sauce was on point, baked beans were really good and the cole slaw was good too. The banana pudding is to die 4. These two NYC ladies give this gem 10 stars! Run don’t walk.

Where has this little BBQ place been all my life? My wife and I enjoy attempting to find good food wherever we go. We check out beautiful upscale restaurants and out-of-the-way shacks and food trucks. We had a GREAT lunch this weekend at this small but amazing local barbecue restaurant. Ten of us tried several items from the menu but the star of the show was the brisket! Delicious and even better with the oniony/garlicy sauce they have in each table. Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I chose a brisket sandwich w/ fries (her) and a brisket plate w/baked beans & potato salad me) for a late lunch. We both agreed that the brisket was excellent!! Tender, moist, and flavorful!!
We have ordered take-out from here before, but never the brisket. While we still prefer BBQ pork sandwiches from another establishment, the brisket here at Big Man’s is tops. Their menu board is filled with other delicious choices. When the chill of fall arrives, their Brunswick stew will be my target!

Had an event nearby and went for lunch. Got the brisket chili 1/4 quart and it was super hearty and delicious would definitely recommend. I ate it all before I got a picture. I also got the pork nacho fries and the were also amazing. ! My only suggestion would be to add jalapeños if you are not afraid or some heat ! Please go here and support local business. They are delicious. !!! Good service. And made fresh.

My new favorite bbq spot in the Shoals area. There are lots of nearby places offering barbecue, but Big Man’s has now overtaken other options. It’s totally worth driving across the river to get food from this awesome choice.

I enjoy trying out BBQ restaurants in our area. This is definitely in the top 3 I’ve had so far. Had the Big Man’s platter and it was more than enough for my wife and I to share. She’s not really into BBQ but we bith could agree that everything we tried was great – Wells seasoned and decent portions.
I appreciate that the platter let us sample most of their menu – brisket, ribs, pulled pork, wings, chicken… AND came with 3 side and a roll. One of the best combos you can get in my opinion.
