My first time here . Went in after work 7/21/25 @ 2:55pm and they told me my wait would be 1hour long for a bowl of chicken curry. Very disappointing. There wasn’t anyone inside the restaurant. I’m not sure why it would take that long besides just being unorganized…. 2nd time here 11/19/2025 and the establishment was closed for maintenance and the website said they were taking orders .. but weren’t. Still ironically “unorganized’. Adding more pictures to this post

Delicious! We had chicken fried momo, chicken chili, chicken curry, garlic naan, and samosa. Everything was perfectly cooked, with the mild spice level as requested. The food came pretty quickly, and the waitress took good care of us.
They have improved their atmosphere (the building did not seem as well-ventilated before and the air was heavy).
Will definitely eat here again!

Overall experience of food and taste is good. Wish the staff could be little polite and talk with a little smile on face. Ambiance is just ok. Good , specially momo tasted really good. Fried rice is just ok , rice looks undercooked. Spice level customization is the best part . Tandoori chicken is also just good. Momos are must try .

As a big momo enthusiast, I decided to give Hamro Nepalee Restaurant a try—and I’m glad I did. I experimented with their momo jhol (medium spice level), and it turned out to be absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and comforting. I later ordered a veg momo to go, which was also above average and well-prepared.
The place does have very low footfall, which might explain the slow service. While I was willing to overlook that for the food, what surprised me was when I ordered butter naan and was instead served paratha—an odd substitution without any explanation.
That said, if you’re visiting for authentic Nepali dishes like momo and thukpa, this place is a hidden gem and worth a stop. But I wouldn’t recommend it for North Indian fare—they need to work on better understanding and executing that part of the menu.
I hope they improve the service speed and pay closer attention to details like menu accuracy. With a few tweaks, this could become a go-to spot for Himalayan cuisine in the area.

Food was good except for the naan. It looks like it is frozen naan instead of make on the site fresh.
Curry was okay and momo was good.

One of the best Nepali restaurants I have been to in the US. The food was so authentic. Loved the Buff sukuti. Jhol momo was just 10/10. We enjoyed every bite to the fullest. The lady who served us food was very friendly and kind. Highly recommend this place if you are craving for some authentic and tasty Nepali cuisine.

Ordered momo for a small gathering from here but they did not give out any sauces for 5 plates of momo. There was not even a single cup of sauce(chutney) at all. Previously, when I order they gave it with the momo but this time to not even give out one chutney for 5 plates, it was rather disappointing.

It’s a small Nepalese or Indo-Chinese cuisine restaurant. The food tasted great. The menu has limited items but what you order tastes good. Their momos or dumplings are a must try. The service is good. The food is inexpensive here.

This place deserves more attention. The staff was very friendly and is family run. The food was incredible and prices were more than reasonable. They gave these amazing fresh “chips” with three different sauces that were all delicious and different. My favorite was the cilantro sauce. My girlfriend ordered the chicken tika masala and I ordered the lamb briyani; both were the best I’ve had in Cincinnati. The portions were huge and I have plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. Kudos to Hamro, we’ll be recommending this place to all our friends.

Steamed chicken momos were so delicious that we ate until we were full and ordered more to take with us. Loved this restaurant. If I were to go here again, I would do a take out.
