We checked this place out recently for dinner and had a great experience. Several people in our group of 7 tried the all-you-can-eat snow crab legs. It was $65 and each bucket came with 2 clusters. The first bucket comes with corn and potatoes. They also give you garlic bread. The crab legs were great. Our server, Keith, was amazing. He kept refilling the buckets and was really attentive and friendly. The blackened shrimp and grits and the fried shrimp were also good. Check them out!

Tonight we had our Pop’s Celebration of Life at Hammered Crab in Gulf Shores! The night was absolutely perfect! Keith, our server was top notch! He had everyone’s drinks ready when we arrived. The tables were set up with candles and a table ready for us to display pictures. He did multiple drink refills, had the crab legs out before anyone asked and made multiple rounds checking on everyone! We could not have been more pleased with the entire night!! The crabs and shrimp were so fresh and delicious! Thank you for making this night so special!!

Was definitely not the experience we were hoping for. 4 of the 5 people in our party were not impressed with their food. Just average. Nothing to write home about.

One of the other reviews stated that the smell of seafood was overwhelming and that is definitely correct. The hostess was unfriendly from the start. We were asked to wait for over 5 minutes for a table when the restaurant was mostly empty. Very odd.

The server was fine. She was very polite and attentive.

As I stated earlier, the food was just average. 2 people had Gumbo and it looked nasty (like it had been sitting for a while). Coleslaw had very little flavor. Ribs were dry and spicy. Served with very little sauce on the side. French dip was edible but not good. Chicken fingers were the only thing that was decent. The 2 people who ordered gumbo both ended up getting sick and felt horrible for over 24 hours.

Overall, there are other places in Gulf Shores that you could visit and have a better dinner.

Our server Katie was on top of it! Food could’ve been better. We got the family feast which was more than plenty for 3 teen giant boys, a teen girl and two parents. Our ribs were good but half of each rib was just fat, our shrimp boil was flavorless, corn was way overcooked, our prime rib meat was cold, no flavor and hard, to be honest maybe I had high expectations but the best part was probably the hush puppies and fries. We even went when is was less crowded which was nice to go right in.

We went at 9:30 at night after you could tell they had been very busy. They didn’t blink at working to clear space for our party of 10. The service was fantastic and we constantly had drinks refilled and updates about what was coming out next. We ordered the crab dip and everyone at the table gave it a 10 out of 10. It was so good my teenage son asked for another order to go. I had the crab grouper and it was fantastic. We all agreed we would definitely come back on a future trip.

My daughter definitely could have done the seafood boil rather than the ayce crab option. Decent happy hour options. Our server Doug was brilliant. The burger was a hard pass, it was not good. My son said the chicken strips were pretty good. Gulf shrimp boil was delicious. Mozzarella sticks were good.

AMAZING ALL AROUND! We visited Alabama for a small birthday trip for my birthday and we chose to go here for our stay and we couldn’t have been more pleased! We were instantly greeted with a smile, seated, with such great service by our waitress Mariah answering all our questions about the area, food,& drinks! The Food was the freshest food we have had in a while from a restaurant! Best quality! Best service! Best food!

Surprisingly good prime rib and an excellent value for several early bird specials, most notably the single crab cake on rice for those who want to sample extra menu options. Crispy, thin onion rings were exceptional! 1/2 lb shrimp was offered hot or cold — but was overcooked. Crab boil was as good as any around….

Waiter Abigail was attentive and well-informed on the menu choices. Only major drawbacks were the dirty decks outside and the completely neglected outside grounds which were unacceptably overgrown with weeds.

Michael B was spectacular! Best service we have ever had here. We had a large group of family with several all you can eat crab orders. Each bucket came out fast and was fresh and hot, and drinks stayed full. Highly recommend and be sure to ask for him.

The service and food were both delicious. We got the seafood gumbo and the all you can eat crablegs. Crablegs were succulent, hot and fresh, so sweet. Our waitress was on top of everything, never waiting for refills on drinks or crablegs. They were $80 for all you can eat which was pricey but they were delicious!
