A great old style lunch counter eatery in downtown Carlisle! The Hamilton restaurant serves up very nice diner fare. The service was excellent and our server kept our drinks topped off the entire time! The burger and hot dog was fantastic- especially the delicious tomatoes! I would definitely recommend this place for people looking for a nice local place to eat for breakfast and lunch.

Very enjoyable meal. Mostly breakfast, but was able to add onion rings. Very good and friendly service. Some of the best creamed chipped beef I’ve had. We both had it on a waffle, but next time would gave on toast (preference). Asked for home fries crispy, and they were great. Sorry. No photo of them

Excellent service with excellent historic Hot-Chee Dogs – hot dog, cheese, onions, and chili. The fries were delicious, hot and fresh while the Cole slaw was tasty and cool. Highly recommend this Carlisle classic.

Wow this restaurant is so good. When I first walked in I was greeted with a smile and customer service 10/10. The food here was probably the best I had in a long time . Traveled from NY I wish they was open where I live . I hope to come back someday.

First time here and was somehow overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time. Wife’s hot beef sandwich with fries covered in gravy was great while my bacon cheeseburger was small and down right flavorless. The small drinks glasses had me waiting for refills. The atmosphere was high energy an everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The strangest part was when I received a “check” with just a four digit number on it that seemed high and without prices for sides or soda on the menu, I could not verify. An itemized bill would alleviate any suspicion.
