Exceptional service and ambiance. Food was overall delicious but was all very rich. The celery root was bliss. The Pide and Kebab were delicious. The steak was ok but I wouldn’t order it again at that price. By the end of the meal we felt very heavy due to copious amounts of brown butter throughout.

One of the best restaurants in Seattle! First the food: there was four of us so we shared quite a few amazing dishes. The Kereviz was amazing, I could have eaten the whole bowl myself but I had to share. The Chi Kufta was a perfectly spicy bite that was a flavor explosion. The Pide was so comforting and warm. The kebab was one of the best, if not the best kebab I’ve ever had – and I’ve had a lot of kebabs over the years. So juicy and flavorful. The steak was so flavorful and perfectly executed. It was bar none the best steak I have ever had. The rice pudding desert was such and amazing combination of sweet and salty and beautiful textures. Even if you think you don’t like rice puddings, you have to try it. You will change your mind. Finally, the cocktails were so unique and delicious. Perfectly balanced. Don’t miss out on them.
The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was spot on. So warm and inviting and not pretentious in anyway. An overall wonderful dining experience. I forgot to take pics of the deserts, the steak and the drinks!

This is our new favorite restaurant in Seattle! Don’t let the exterior fool you- the interior is an oasis for the senses. Every dish was delightful and so flavorful. We’ve already planned out what we’ll order next time. Don’t miss the Kebap and the Havuc!

We booked an 8:15 pm dinner reservation almost a month in advance and arrived a few minutes early. We were told it would be “just a couple of minutes,” but ended up waiting close to 30 minutes to be seated.
While the staff did apologize, it was still frustrating given that the restaurant charges a $60 per person reservation fee, which is forfeited if guests are more than 15 minutes late. That policy feels one-sided when the restaurant itself runs significantly behind schedule. Some additional acknowledgment—such as a small gesture—would have gone a long way.
Given how highly rated this place is, the service was a letdown. If the food had been amazing, we might have felt better about the wait—but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The food was just okay. Several dishes felt not well balanced, which was disappointing considering the reputation.
Overall, this experience didn’t live up to expectations, especially at this price point

Hamdi Restaurant is simply outstanding!
From the moment you walk in, the warm and attentive service sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The menu is a true celebration of Turkish cuisine with authentic threads that result in artistic yet creative, beautifully crafted confections by the chef-owner himself.
Highlights of our meal included the refreshing- scrumptious Karpuz Salatası and Kereviz, the perfectly grilled Dorado with potatoes, and a delightful finish of Turkish grandmother recipe of rice pudding served with roasted hazelnuts and pistachios.
Hamdi is the perfect spot for a special occasion or a romantic dinner, exceptional food, exceptional service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return again and again. Well done, Chef!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Hamdi . Ordered 4 dishes + dessert and some cocktails and everything was satisfying to the eyes and the palette . It is a smaller restaurant than several others most of us are used to here , so be patient while the staff do their best to navigate through customers. Everyone was smiling , working hard and courteous . I will certainly be returning 🙂

We visited Hamdi for the 2nd time a few weeks ago and it was once again outstanding! The flavors are incredible! My favorite dishes are the pide, the kebap, & the steak. We had fun trying Kat’s own thoughtfully crafted cocktails. Service was impeccable & the team showed us a great time! We sat promptly at reservation time & the food was presented at a really nice pace. Indulged in desserts as well. Can’t wait for next visit!

We had the most exceptional dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Every single thing we ate exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable, and the food was perfect. We ate at the chefs table and it was wonderful to enjoy the activities of the kitchen. This place should not be missed!

Every starter we tried was amazing — the flavors were spot-on, and the chicken wings were so good we (1) asked if we could get takeouts, and (2) went home and immediately started looking up recipes.
The entrées, however, were less exciting. Our steak was aged for 60 days — which server mentioned was longer than usual (maybe because they closed for July… just kidding) — but it tasted average and was overpriced at $172 for a 24oz porterhouse. Dessert was mostly cardamom, the tiramisu tasted like chewing on Chinese herbal medicine, which might not be for everyone.
