Nice homey and calm atmosphere. Very small-town and relaxing vibe with great staff and service. Food was good, as I got the cheeseburger cooked medium and it was still moist while being cooked enough. Rare to find the perfect balance (pun intended).

This is a cool place to eat and the service is great. The food came out twice as fast as I thought it was going to. Then the food. I wish the was a little better. Coleslaw needs more sauce. Red beans and rice needed more seasoning, check out a Popeyes. Brisket was a little over cooked, but I did eat it all with some sweet bbq sauce. My wife enjoyed the chicken but not the potato salad.

A wonderful family owned business, great food , great location. Nevertheless I went at a less busy time , the food was not as fresh as expected . Too much sauce on the bbq , I should have told to get me dry . Soup was decent . The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. The burger was really good .

Went by this place on the way to Mendocino.
Stopped by for the BBQ, it was great, had the BBQ Brisket sandwich with wedge fries, very soft and tender. The brisket was great and you can pull it apart with your fingers.

Walked into the main restaurant and the A/C was very nice and wonderful. When I ate outside it was 85 Degrees. We have a small dog and the server was very accommodating.

What a charming bbq place. We had passed this place many times but today is the day we decided to try it out, food was delicious,staff are professional and so friendly, reasonable price, clean and pleasant dining room. We’ll definitely bring some friends next time.

Oh my what a great place!!! Bear Creek River beef in a long list of burger options. And? Fairly priced! Top quality ingredients served diner style, right off the Hwy. History has proved why this place was a favorite then and still is today. If you’ve been? Go back! If you’re a newbie, like me? Absolutely do not sleep on this joint. It’s a win-win-win!!
