Joined my daughter for a new venue that she recommended. Lots of parking and was greeted at the door immediately. Since I was back in the ‘burg, I enjoyed a cold IC Light. I ordered their French onion soup and wedge salad with grilled chicken. Both were delicious! A great menu and selection. I’ll be back!

10/10 the best wings I’ve ever had in my life! Perfect crunchy/juicy ratio, and the sauce was delicious. The owner was very friendly and introduced himself. Will be going back! Only critique was that it was a little loud, but is to be expected from a bar/grill.

Going to Hal’s is always a good time. The food is great and the menu is huge. There is a bottle shop attached to the building that has many rare craft beers, and working with Danny over there to find something you like is easy and worth coming back. They have a large parking lot too so parking usually isn’t an issue. I go here often and it’s always good.

My wife and I share a love for the food and drinks. Their changing drink menu has been a favorite of ours. We had our 3rd date there years ago and have been back regularly. The food is fantastic. The staff is kind and considerate. And weve never had a bad experience or bad food.

Went there for the first time on 9/16/2025 and I have to say, this place is fantastic! Servers were fast and friendly, and the food we ordered came very quickly. Portions are generous, especially the appetizers. We were only in the restaurant for about 1 minute and were already seated and had drinks on the table. Hal himself (owner) even refilled my drink for me! We will definitely visit again, and this place is our new favorite.

The food at this place is decent but the customer service is terrible. I went there for wing night a few weeks ago with a party of 4. I ordered beef stew with mashed potatoes. I was told while ordering that the mashed potatoes counted as the side for my dinner even though they are in the entree description. The food was decent pretty much what you would expect.
One of the people in our group ordered a cheese burger and a dozen wings. After dinner he was told he could not get a to-go container for his 5 remaining chicken wings. He was told it was their policy not to offer to-go containers on wing nights. This policy was not explained prior to ordering, not posted anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant that we saw. We had also already paid prior to finding this out. I find it unacceptable to be heckled about a to-go box for $5 worth of chicken wings in almost any situation but even more offensive in a group setting where multiple appetizer, entrees, and drinks were ordered. I won’t be returning.

The last time I was there, we had a not so great experience. Long wait for mediocre food and pretty awful service. Haven’t been there in almost a year because of that. Decided to give it another shot…thank goodness I did! Our food and beer was great, but the service was even better! Our server was super attentive and sweet; she also gave us awesome recommendations on food. Our appetizer and meals came out very quickly! After dinner we went to the bottle shop next door. We were again met with wonderful recommendations and service. Will be back again soon!

We were on our way to a show downtown and stopped here for dinner on a Saturday. It was already packed around 5pm which is a good sign for sure.
The hostess was friendly and hot is seated straightaway. Our waitress Anna was awesome, friendly and patient as she gave recommendations and addresses the GF and DF constraints of a member innour party.
Very lively atmosphere here, the food was good and overall menu has great selections to pick from. The beer selection is also great. It is good to have a restaurant on this side of Babcock Blvd as there are not any food options there.
Good bar serup and seating around the sides. We will be back, ask for Anna if she has a shift, she was great.

We have been getting takeout from Hals for years. Never again. We ordered 3 meals that were awful. First of all the sweet potato fries were not cooked enough. I asked for very well done fries and no they were not. The onion rings were raw and in a big mushy pile. We had to put them in the oven to be cooked. The chicken parm sandwich was awful with no sauce. The burger was the only edible thing. They are off our list permanently. It’s a shame.
