It’s NY Style pizza that leaves you feeling happy and rejuvenated. It’s not a heavy cardboard-tasting pizza like you get at so many places. The dough tastes fresh, the sauce is light and flavorful, and the toppings are high quality (the pepperoni is delicious, not too spicy or fatty).
I’ve eaten here a dozen times since they opened. The service keeps getting better and better as they refine their customer-focused experience.
This time I had an issue with the online payment process. I mentioned it to the guy at the counter when picking up my pizzas. I left my number in case someone wanted to discuss it. I had a call from the owner within the hour. That really never happens. They addressed/resolved the issue and left me “WOW’d.”
The only thing that would make this a better NY Style Pizzaria is if it was in walking distance and open at 1:00 in the morning. Also, it’s way too clean for NY, but I eat there anyway.
From the moment you walk in, the service is attentive and welcoming, with a genuine smile that sets the tone. It’s a great spot for families—kids can be kids without it feeling chaotic—and the mix of indoor seating, outdoor tables, and even grassy areas makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time.
Parking is simple, which is always a plus in Frisco, and the beer and wine selection pairs nicely with the food. Add in very reasonable prices for the quality you’re getting, and Halo Pizzeria becomes an easy five-star choice
The place has a really ambient and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot to eat, drink, and catch a game on TV.
The customer service stood out — the staff was friendly and attentive throughout.
The food is decent, with a good variety of pizzas, starters, salads, and desserts to choose from.
They got ample parking space.A nice hangout spot with good service and atmosphere!
We had another great visit today! After a last-minute change in plans, our group of 13 stopped by around 11 am, and Claire was incredibly accommodating!
We enjoyed a wonderful selection: cheese and heritage pizzas, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, and ended with a delicious Nutella pie. Every dish was exceptional, and the service made our experience even better. Can’t wait to return!
====================================
The pizza here was really flavorful! We tried the Cheese and Heritage pizzas, and both were delicious :5/5 – definitely worth coming back for.
We also ordered a few sides:
• Brussel sprouts: 4/5
• Garlic knots: 4/5 – A bit tough; we hoped it would be softer with flavors soaked in better.
• Wings: 3/5 – Too hard, not as soft or juicy as expected.
Overall, it was a good experience, especially the pizzas! However, the service could improve. The staff didn’t check in, and we had to go to them to get the bill and pay. It was around 9:20 PM, so maybe they were tired or wrapping up for the night.
