Omg FRESH FRESH FRESH and clean! Husband and I drove out to this spot for our daughter who loves fish and chips.. I was really surprised! Portions big! The halibut was beautifully battered! Wow I was pretty surprised that it wasn’t busier.. in that matter ide have to say location.. not enough word going around is my guess. Delicious food! I just cant say good enough about this place should check her out! Sadly I didn’t get to take any photos. I’ll see if my daughter has anything for herself. For me to post, it was really good.Clean fresh oil to fry fish in like.I mean very nice!

Special for the fish was priced to smile for. The location is great and close to lots of other stops needed from groceries to adult beverages. You are served at the table which was a pleasant surprise. No wifi for anyone looking to eat and get work done here. Staff were friendly and prompt to get things ordered. Overall a good spot for the fish craving.

Awesome fish n’ chip restaurant, lots of seats with benches for privacy and comfort. Platters are filling with lots of variety, and the grilled halibut was fresh and delicious. Employees are really nice too.

The latest visit wasn’t good. The grilled salmon was ok, though it took longer to arrive. The waitress Thy’s service was subpar; she is not very welcoming, sat at the table sorting the cutlery and napkins than customer service, mostly spent time chatting in the back and doesn’t check to see if I’m satisfied with my meal. I waited a long time for the bill, even when I asked for the bill, she was in the back stocking drinks and I was the only customer left. I had to walk to the counter to pay my bill.
I don’t think I’ll return to this location anymore.

Solid fish & chips. We go every Wednesday for the cod and chip special! Thick fish, good batter, perfect fries. Great service.Give it a go when in Ancaster.

This was our first visit to the Halibut House. We ordered two Sunday Specials (halibut & French fries) and fish tacos. Shout out to Sokunthea Chea for being so welcoming and friendly. The food came out quite quick and was temperature hot. The fries are made fresh everyday. The best part, they give you a bottle of their homemade tartar sauce on the table! Restaurants never give you enough tartar sauce, not the case with the Halibut House. Great fresh food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

This place is Immaculate Very Clean they have an Open concept kitchen you can see how the staff os preparing the meals, The staff was very friendly also.
