Just passing through and looking for something casual for lunch. Nice, family friendly atmosphere with friendly service and nice lunch. Reasonable prices for a filling meal. The Hot Roast Beef with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was some of the best roast beef I have had from a roadside diner. The beef was cooked through but retained a great flavor and was quite succulent and tender. The gravy was well seasoned without being over-bearing, while the mash potatoes were home-made and a good consistency. We really enjoyed the meal. Burgers and fries were good, but typical burger and fries.
Definitely would consider stopping again, if passing through, to try other menu options, like the pork chop special.

I always love the spaghetti. The portion size has went way down on them. Two small servings was $18. Other than that they are always delicious. I see I got a response from the owner, I never said the price increased, but yes the size is smaller.. I was told that before I visited and yes I agree with the other party that ate there, it is smaller than before.

Great place unfortunately they only stay open until 2pm. Also, a little difficult sometimes getting out of parking lot. But I would eat there every day with the home cooked food and friendly staff. Makes me feel like a kid sitting at the table on Sunday meals.

Its an Amazing Country Restaurant that has everything you could Love about Country. Perfect Food, Southern Hospitality and a Love for family. They are a great stop for them long drives through Virginia when you are in the area.

Never disappointed. The best actual homestyle cooked breakfast anywhere and the service is always top notch. Mostly, you just can’t beat that sausage gravy! (Sorry mom!)

Nice people at this diner. It was busy when I got there, with most all tables filled. She got some good coffee for me pretty quick and an excellent sausage gravy biscuit!

Just one of my favorites. Wish they could stay open later but was told help is hard to get. Food & service are always decent. Sometimes you have to ask for a refill but it’s typically because they are busy & not lazy. I love the little place! My one & only issue is that they don’t dry off the tables after wiping them down so I ask for napkins to do it myself! 🙂
