First time in St.Petersburg Florida for a trip with my daughter. We are vegan and we prefer gluten free also. I found this gem on google we ate the southwest bowl which was great flavor. My daughter enjoyed it also. Service was on point staff was amazing and got to meet the owner Laura who made us felt so welcomed and at home feeling. Can’t wait to come back again with my whole family and enjoy this love filled restaurant. Highly recommended.

This is a sweet little vegan eatery, bakery, and coffee shop. The coffee was delightful. I actually got to meet the owner and she was super nice and personable. The decor was lovely and the vibe was chill. You can set up your laptop and get to work in this chill space. The prices are good as well. Go check it out!

I was so surprised and delighted to find such an amazing gf bakery in FL! I cannot say enough great things about them. Coffee, great ✅ pastries, awe-inspiring breakfast food, to-die-for
Plus (how could there be more?), they had vegan options! I bought and ate WAY too much food, but I don’t regret a single bite or penny spent!
Still dreaming of this place from TN! Gives me a reason to go back to FL (and there aren’t many).

as someone who can’t eat gluten, it is so hard to find safe food to eat at cafes/restaurants. hale life being strictly gluten free is so relieving and refreshing. knowing that i can walk in and eat anything on the menu is a rare occurrence, and i will definitely stop in any time i am in the area.
i got the spinach rustica melt handheld, a cinnamon roll, and the spiced sweet potato hot coffee.
the spinach rustica had spinach, artichoke, onion, mozzarella, and provolone on focaccia bread. it was warm, cheesey, and delicious! the focaccia was fluffy and it didn’t taste noticeably gluten free like most breads do. you would also never know it was vegan! my only recommendation would be to have more filling, because there were some bites that were only bread.
the cinnamon roll was good, not as fluffy and gooey as a regular gluten one, but still yummy.
unfortunately the spiced sweet potato coffee was not good. it was supposed to come with a cream cheese foam top and oatmeal cookie crumbles, but mine did not have them. the coffee had an odd metallic taste or something i couldn’t quite identify, and had a gritty layer at the bottom that i think was coffee grounds or the spiced component. it was not enjoyable and i couldn’t drink more than a few sips. it’s possible it just wasn’t for me or i got a bad cup.
other than the coffee, everything was great, including the food, the service, and the space. there’s all gender restrooms, lots of seating (inside and outside), and a community board.
i would highly recommend hale life to anyone who eats gluten free/vegan, as well as to everyone else!

Friendly staff, food was good, and the coffee was sweet but with a nice flavor too. I enjoyed this place when it came to acceptance towards everyone and they took that literally from the height chair for moms with littles, to pets, and gender free bathrooms. It’s a great place to sit, eat, and even sit outside or on the couch to study or read.

Always loveee the service and food here! We travel from Gainesville to visit at least 3x a year and always are pleased with the unique specials and yummy food options. We have lots of dietary restrictions and am glad Hale Life exists for people like us. Rayna was soooooo kind and helped us with all of our questions and needs. Always looking forward to coming back.

HaleLife is a wonderful spot if you have a lot of food allergies/sensitivities. We also had them do our wedding cake and everyone absolutely love it. Many were surprised it was gluten and dairy free!

We popped in to do some cake tasting and tried the tacos and cupcake flavors Bananas Foster, Chocolate Ganache, I must say that none of it was for me I like Gluten Free but these cupcakes were so dry, dense and flavorless however the chocolate ganache frosting was just okay and the bananas foster tastes like it was just vanilla. The tacos had way to much corn and had no taco flavor at all the sauce tasted like watered down thousand island dressing. Overall not a good experience so I don’t think this bakery is for me. Positive note the staff member that helped us was super friendly and the shop is small but cute.

Oh my GOD. this is the best sandwich ever. The bread is so good. My fiance got the bagel, and even that tastes amazing. I am blown away as someone who is gluten free and dairy free.

My daughter who has celiac disease was so thrilled to come in a pick out a delicious looking donut! She also got a huge cinnamon roll and a hot chocolate. The cashier was super friendly and we were very happy that she had a place to get some yummy treats that were safe to eat!
