The food is usually amazing. But if you are there during friday nights, it can be a hit or miss. They keep the meat over rice items ready to go and just add the sauce before serving. While it cuts down the serving time, the hot food cooks the salad quite a bit leaving a bad taste to the salad and the rice around it. Otherwise, really yummy halal food.

Spooooo spicy but tastes amazing, I ve just had a stomach related issue so couldn’t eat it at all my tongue is burning my stomach is burning please please make sure to tell them how spicy you want the food. I know spicy but this is 20 times spicier than I ever eaten

Whether it’s 4am or 4pm, Sher Halal is always there for you. No glaze but this is easily the best halal food you can find in State College. Would recommend.

INSANE!!!!! This place has the best chicken gyro that I have ever had. It’s over an hour round trip for me to get food here and all I can think about all week is making it down to this gem of a food stand. The best flavor of food that has hit my mouth in a long time. I have young children and it’s hard for me to get out of the house but when I get a babysitter I’m planning my escape again very soon as all I can think about is their chicken gyros!!! I’m addicted

We went around dinner time on a Saturday. They were kind and helpful. They were out of a lot of things. We got a falafel salad and a lamb gyro. Both were very greasy. Will likely try one more time to see if it was an “off day” but generally it was messy, drowning in sauce, and greasy.
