I’ve been coming here for a while now and this halal spot never disappoints. It’s more expensive that the carts you see around NYC but they also give you more food.
They are the only place that I’ve seen that does spicy rice and it’s really good.
There is paid two hour parking outside (but you can probably get away with not paying if you’re just in and out)

I’ve been coming here since the place opened in my neighborhood, service is generally good, food portion is definitely inconsistent depending on the team on shift but today is probably the worst it’s been in a while.
Team’s portion was smallest I have ever seen and learned the platter no longer comes with a drink, cashier was speaking with a customer which my friends and I thought he was speaking to and mistakenly charged us for drinks despite paying for one combo and 2 platters. I’ll pay my bill as issued and I’ll continue to come here but new customers, be wary what you’re getting yourself into if you find yourself in an odd situation.

I’ve ordered from this halal munchies several times and I did enjoy their food in the past. However, this last time I found a screw inside of the falafel. I didn’t know it was in there and I ended up biting down on it. I have attached pictures. While I did enjoy the food in the past, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to order from here again as their food quality is definitely compromised if a screw was able to get into it.

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Halal Munchies. The fries were undercooked—cold, barely fried, and not appetizing at all. As for the burgers, there’s a serious issue with consistency. Sometimes they’re decent, but other times the quality drops noticeably. It feels like a hit-or-miss experience, and unfortunately, this time it missed. Hoping they work on improving the basics.

Thank you very much for the staff there. I was a delivery man that night and I wore a jersey of a country they were familiar with. When I finished picking up the food, they gave me a free dinner. I really appreciate it. I have picked up food several times in this store. They also provide toilet services for our delivery men. Their food was very delicious when I ate it for the first time. Thank you again. I will wear another Qatar jersey next time I come. Football has no borders.

As always, this place is PHENOMENAL!! Where else in NYC will you go for a huge platter of quality, fresh food for $11.00?!?!?! I usually get the falafel platter but this time I got fish. I can’t believe the amount of fish on this!! Absolutely amazing- and nice service as well!
