Food is really delicious… i was so hungry when I got in there… ordered the mixed rice noodles with beef chicken & shrimp and a koong pao chicken… the noodles was little bit less salty but with soy sauce tasted better and the koong pao chicken was so good…

Halal Hunan Cafe in Tysons is a fantastic spot! The food was fresh, flavorful, and healthy, made with high-quality ingredients, and the service was kind and welcoming.

I ordered the garlic eggplant, mixed chow mein, and sweet and sour pork, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea was also a great addition—refreshing and just the right amount of sweet.

I took my friend with me, and she loved it too—we both left full and happy. It’s a great place to bring someone if you want a relaxed meal with great flavors.

The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portion size and quality. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for tasty halal Chinese food in the Tysons area!

Lovely family-owned restaurant here in Tysons. My family and I have ordered takeout from here for years, and the food is always fresh and delicious, ready within 10-15 minutes for pickup.

Our go-to’s right now are the Singapore Rice Noodle, Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (comes with rice), and Hunan Chicken. We’ve also tried the Lo Mein, General Tso’s, and Sesame Chicken, which all taste great. Can’t wait to try more of their menu options

Paid an extra $5 placing an order for pickup because the website this restaurant uses jacks up the prices. Compared the menu when I got there in person … my sesame chicken was like $19 for pick up that’s outrageous… I tried to talk to them about it and maybe get 2 spring rolls to fulfill the scammed money that was taken but they said I can only take a drink which really didn’t add up to the value. I understand they can’t control the website having these hidden prices in the food prices but that means you shouldn’t use that website! Just not morally correct. Lesson learned is to call in and place but how would I have known the menu prices were different? Especially for a pick up and not delivery order

The dishes are even cleaner tasting and less salty than before, and we love the new chicken wonton soup. The chefs have creatively used spices and ground halal meat to recreate pork dishes. Great for those who eat halal but also for those who don’t want to feel bloated after a Chinese meal. We loved the chicken broccoli and moo shoo and will be ordering again for this healthier take on American Chinese food.

Surprisingly good garlic eggplant. Lots of oil but a good flavor. And not insanely salty. For the first time in the history of ever, I ADDED salt to American Chinese food. The rice was also quite good. Ill be back.

Was excited to try it considering it’s Halal. However, except for crispy beef….food was pretty tasteless which is a surprising feat to achieve with Chinese cuisine. Don’t think will be ordering again.

I understand the need for halal. It’s a dietary restriction that some people abide by, and by all means if you want Chinese food and it needs to be halal, then eat here. If you don’t have any restrictions, avoid this place.

We ordered the egg rolls and sweet & sour chicken. The egg roll just tasted like oil. Biting into it just filled my mouth with oil and I forgot that I was eating an egg roll. The sweet & sour chicken was bland and so was the fried rice. The fried rice didn’t have any trace of egg or vegetables. Are those not halal? I’m not sure but they weren’t there. The sauce wasn’t as sweet as I’m used to which is the main attraction in ordering the sweet & sour chicken at any place. To me, I was just missing out on a lot of flavor and now I’m left with this headache from all the oil.
