Beef, lamb, shrimp were all great.
Spicy boil as well as basic.
Rice with pork was yummy.
Lobster ball was tasty but didnt like texture – was expecting little meat.
It has a club smell when you first get aquainted and then you wont notice it. Others might notice it from you though outside or beyond the restaurant. Its like a hot friend that stays with you for the evening becuse you will get looks.
On the way out, you get to pick a box on the wall to win something. I won a lego toy.
Def will be going back again.
Menu and ordering was a little unclear at first but our waitress was amazing amd very attentive when needed.
My friends and I recently took our kids to try a new place Haidilao Hot Pot and, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. We made reservations and the atmosphere was lively, service was great, but that’s where the positives end.
We ordered both spicy and non-spicy broth, but the spicy one was a huge mistake. I specifically asked for zero numbness, but it still packed a ton of heat. Our server was super kind and tried to help by pouring water and additional broth to tone it down, but it was still way too spicy for us. What’s weird is, I’m a spicy food lover and can usually handle some heat, but this was just too much. My tongue was numbed, and it wasn’t just the initial burn – it lingered.
The kids’ Tom Yum broth was good, though – spicy level three was perfect for them. The white broth or non-spicy broth seems like a better bet.
On the bright side, our server was great and tried to make it work. And, bonus, they threw in free ice cream, which was a nice touch after the spicy chaos.
The real flavor savior was the sauce and salad bar ($3.99 per person, FYI), where I made a killer sauce that actually made the meal enjoyable.
Overall, I’m disappointed. For the price, I’d rather go to a hot pot place in Chinatown or a dollar shop – you get more bang for your buck. Maybe I’ll try them again if they fix the spicy broth issue…
Talking about the food shall yield a text wall, so I’m gonna go with: you can’t go wrong, make sure the delicious sides and your main course get attention, aaand save some room for dessert.
If you’re going there for the first time, make sure to check out the dancing noodle!! Makes for a very unique and fun experience, and also delicious noodles. The staff are all VERY friendly and professional.
Additionally, you get a very cute apron and if you’re a lady, a top-notch hair tie. If you’re a kid, the TVs with cartoons shall hypnotize you (parents beware). The bathrooms honestly are five-star too (you’ll see why when you get there).
Also, if you don’t want to make a reservation or wait outside for a spot, I’d recommend showing up at the crack of 11:00am when they open, they’re not quite packed then.
psst… if you maybe say some *keywords* to a waiter, you might get an Easter egg!
Our server Yilin was super sweet and cheerful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She took the time to introduce the different soup bases, helped us choose the best options, and were always quick to refill the broth and check if we needed anything. The food was delicious and very fresh, exactly what you’d expect from Haidilao.
Overall, it was a warm and comforting meal on Christmas night. Amazing service and great food — I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great first experience here; we got the mushroom and spicy broth.
Added on à la carte veggies which is great for picky people like us who prefers that over a set.
Exceptional service and very helpful for ordering for our first time. My new favorite hot pot! We will be coming back soon
Also 31% off if you come after 9:30pm, and they open until midnight.
The side dishes are all you can eat and TBH I can even get fed a good meal just by consuming those (that is how good they are).
Decent hotpot for decent price, some of the well-known dishes like the baby seaweed is a must order. We ordered quite a lot for two people today but no worries you can always bring them home.
Also their service is great. Amanda was serving us tonight and was very attentive and did a great job in packing our takeouts.
Will definitely come again!
Food is average – the curry was really spicy!
Not bad for a hotpot but not the best.
Nice collection of sauces and add ons though.
