Very friendly, welcoming environment! Love this coffee shop. Nice, comfy cozy place to work and use the wifi.
Coffee is from Ethiopia.
They also do a ceremony on Sundays, so we have to come back to check that out.

Super nice little café; not easy to find something like this amongst all the big chains. Quiet, relaxing and with very friendly staff. One of the best places to get espresso in Tempe but the Ethiopian traditional coffee ceremony is a must to try as well! Skip Starbucks next door and come here instead.

We had difficulty finding this coffee shop because the sign above the door has not yet been updated from the previous business. Nevertheless we persisted and found the shop. The coffee is so wonderful that the extra effort was well worth it. Coffee beans are Ethiopian, strong, smooth and full of flavor. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. There are many comfortable chairs and sofas. There are even small chairs and tables for kids.

Hadas Cafe offers a delightful experience from start to finish. The cozy vibe and welcoming staff immediately make you feel at home. Their coffee is excellent—rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. I also love the variety of baked goods they offer; everything I’ve tried has been fresh and tasty. Whether you’re there for a quick coffee or to relax with a book, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer. Highly recommend!

I accidentally discovered this wonderful Ethiopian coffee shop, and I absolutely love it. They serve a variety of coffee and Ethiopian coffees, all made fresh right in front of you. The owner has a delightful personality, and I really enjoy chatting with her while waiting for my coffee.

Best local coffee shop in the area.
Lovely owner, quiet environment.
Great place to study, or just have a drink and read a book.

I wanted to like this place because it does seem unique and is clearly a small business rather than an international chain. Nothing was really five stars about this shop though. The interior is run down and a little dirty. There are four total pastries in the pastry case and the cold drinks display is empty. The drip coffee was luke warm, which appeared to be a result of their storage method (chemex style brewer with coffee just sitting in uninsulated carafe). Also, the barista charged me $5.69 for a medium, which is really high (Starbucks charges $2.95) and higher than the price listed on the menu. The coffee tastes very good, but it’s not delivered in way that reflects that value.

Review for Hadas Cafe
Hadas Cafe is a wonderful new addition to the area! This charming coffee shop serves delicious African coffee, and the quality is outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The cafe itself is spotless and has a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Even though they’ve only been open for six weeks, they’re already doing a fantastic job. We will definitely be back!

I love the coffee, decoration and the really nice lady that works there. Only thing I don’t love is that the hours seem unpredictable. They are often closed and sometimes I count on this spot to grab coffee and a bite on my way to work, but then they are closed and I don’t have enough time to make it to anywhere but work.
