The service was excellent! They brought my chips & salsa right away, and the food was ready within 10min of ordering. However, $18 for a carne asada burrito seems a bit steep. Especially that there wasn’t a lot of meat in my burrito, mostly rice. My meal (without a drink) with taxes and a tip came down to $24. I didn’t find it to be worth it.

Haven’t been here before. The lengthy note in the window declaring “no free refills on chips” should have served as a warning. What surprised me most was the tiny size of the chip basket, which barely held more than a handful—hardly enough for four people.
Let me start with the best part. The atmosphere is great! The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the service is excellent. The food is good, but not great. I tend to prefer my Mexican food more on the mild side, though I do enjoy my food well-spiced.
I ordered their chimichanga burrito (deluxe). The burrito was crisp, crunchy, and the overall presentation was nice (see photo). However, for nearly $17 dollars (and sodas costing over $4 dollars), I expected the burrito to fill the plate; instead, it was quite small. Thus, presentation was about as far as it went. Unfortunately, the burrito was so mild that it lacked depth of flavor, and I even had to add salt to enhance it. I requested my sauce on the side, which was served barely at room temperature. Overall, my experience here was good but not great.
Even more bothersome was a 3.5% credit card convenience fee – Ouch!
There are plenty of food options out there, so next time I crave Mexican, I’ll reconsider eating here.

So good we got a food coma. They have flavored frozen margaritas which hit the spot. I had a kiwi mango marg(they will mix the flavors)
We shared the chicken and steak fajita for 2. So flavorful and perfectly cooked!

Hacienda Real is a favorite for both me and my husband. The owner is so personable and kind. We enjoy talking with him when we go in. Besides just the traditional Mexican fair, they have some unique flavors that have been passed down in their family. One of my favorites is the chicken with peanut sauce. INCREDIBLE!

We found the cutest little very authentic Mexican restaurant last night for Cinco de Mayo! It’s so yummy and respectable pricing! Delicious and highly recommend the Mexican pizza (seafood)! We got to draw a paper with a discount or something from them. I ended up getting a homemade tequila shot for free. Since there were two of us they brought 2. It was also delicious and smooth! We will be back there for sure!

Do not overlook this cozy mexican restaurant. We are from Austin and we know our Mexican food. The margaritas are just right…fresh lime, quality tequila. Try the Coin. The queso is great as is the salsa. My husband always gets the spinach enchiladas with green sauce. I love their whole pinto beans so much I often get a guacamole tostada and side of beans. Everything is fresh. The current owner added cozy booths and serves you with a smile. We go often although we live on the other side of town.

Our family loves Hacienda Real. We have been going there for years. Their food is delicious, great service, nice decor. Last night I had Fajitas Mar Y Tierra. Tender marinated beef and chicken, 4 prawns, sautéed onions, green and red peppers. And then all the fixings too. Absolutely delicious! Margaritas are tasty as well! Go check them out!

Hacienda is a 5 star restaurant all the way! Delicious food, excellent service and a nice atmosphere. We have had takeout food here a couple of times but our most recent time was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We popped in and asked if we could have a drink while we waited for our to-go meal to be prepared. They don’t have a bar but the server graciously let us take a table and even offered us chips and salsa. We took our meals home and they were so flavorful! I had the asada steak burrito which was smoothered and my husband had the #27 which was a pork burrito and a fried chili relleno (this dish has multiple options). We recommend Hacienda to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food!

the chips were hot & the salsa was great! my enchiladas were fantastic, beans & rice also good. the margarita was also good, and the sopapillas were SO DELICIOUS. honestly the best part was the impeccable service. definitely coming back!!!
