Was visiting my hairstylist at a new location and discovered this place. Love Mexican food, so looked forward to a new restaurant.
Was warmly greeted. Per their invitation, walked around the place; it’s beautiful and huge. Outstanding views of the lake!
Sat at bar for the beginning of their Happy Hour. Was immediately waited on.
I accepted the offer for chips and salsa.
The chips were so stale that they were unpleasant, the salsa seemed store bought and not delicious. Disappointing.
I wanted to order a second glass of wine and the place was an employee ghost town. Disappointing. Eventually a random server collecting clean glasses just poured me a glass. Since the chips and salsa were so underwhelming I wasn’t motivated to order food.
When I was finished with my drink, I again waited for anyone to check on me but no one did. Disappointing.
I eventually asked the hostess to rescue me and then someone showed up to check me out. Being the honest lass that I am, I informed him I’d had two glasses because he didn’t have a clue. Honestly, I could have walked out and who knows when or if anyone would have noticed? Disappointing.

We were able to sit by the lake and enjoy a nice meal with fresh breeze.
The restaurant was not busy as we started our meal at 1pm. The service was not fast. Each course drinks with salsa and chips, appetizers, main course all came very long apart. So be sure to plan ample time for your meal.
The food was very delicious and with the view. It was a great place to spend time with friends.

Beautiful views by the water. Lots of seating. The staff were kind and attentive. It’s not cheap but you pay for the atmosphere and views. The tacos were good though not very seasoned in my view.

What a wonderful evening at Hacienda of the Lake this evening. We were seated at a lovely table at the waters edge. We started with chips and salsa and of course Margaritas. My wife had a frozen skinny and I had a Cadillac. Diego was our fantastic server and was friendly, professional and efficient. I had a dinner salad to start and then we ordered entrees. My wife had the Caleta enchilada entree with chicken and I had the Las Brisas with a chicken enchilada and chile relleno. The view and ambiance is incredible and the service fantastic. Good food, good people and fantastic location.

We had a wonderful time at Hacienda on the Lake. My father and his friend came out from Hemet and we met at the restaurant. Maria is so wonderful and welcomed us as well as took us to a beautiful table by the lake. Oscar was our amazing server assisted by Martine. Both were professional, kind and efficient. The ladies had enchilada entrees and my father and I had the tampiquena and the food was hot and tasty. The chips and salsa was great and the drinks terrific as well. What a great ambiance. We topped things off with the fried ice cream and it’s fantastic as well.
Highly recommended.

Another great dining experience at Hacienda on the lake. Tonight when we arrived Maria greeted us and took us to a wonderful table in the dining room. I noticed right away that they had new tables, painted walls and spruce up the interior with the addition of fire pits as well. Mauricio was our amazing server and we also were greeted by Hilda another amazing server. Ricardo helped us with chips, salsa and water as well. We started with margaritas and also dinner salads. Miguel the general manager came by and we chatted as well. The people here are like family. We talked for a while and I also commented how good the chips and salsa were. Miguel informed me that they also had a new chip supplier. A terrific move as these chips are fresh and tasty. Miguel that brought us each a shot of Don Julio Reposado to cheer the New Year. What a wonderful and thoughtful person. We then ordered our entrees. My wife had the Caleta and I had the tampequenia. Great food, great ambiance and amazing staff.

My wife and I both decided to head to Hacienda on the Lake for a nice meal on the water. We were greeted by Maria who is such a wonderful person and so cheerful and welcoming. Maria took us to a nice table at the waters edge. So nice! I saw Miguel with a serape and he looked quite authentic. Miguel is the GM and a wonderful person. We were greeted by Raphael and what an amazing server and person. We spoke of his daughter who is attending Harvard on a full ride scholarship and he was glowing as a proud papa. He works two jobs to help his daughter with all other expenses. A wonderful man. We ordered drinks which were fantastic. My wife had a blended margarita and I had two Don Julio 1942s on a large rock and one mango margarita. So so good. My wife ordered the Hacienda tacos with chicken and I had the chicken breast tostada. The food was wonderful. We had the guacamole and chips with salsa while awaiting out main entrees. Alex one of the other managers came by to say hello and we chatted for a while and we also said hello to Hilda, Mauricio, and Kassandra. The staff are so nice and just wonderful people. The main entrees came and were excellent. Miguel has us try a new cabernet savignon and brought out a bottle of topo chico.

The view is the best part! The service was okay although we were there on a busy night waiting an hour to get our food. It is over priced and the flavors are mediocre. I’d choose to go to sushi a few doors down or find a more authentic Mexican restraunt next time.

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Mexican restaurant in California, and it was an absolute delight! I ordered the fajitas, and they were incredible fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sizzling presentation was as impressive as the taste, with tender meat, crisp vegetables, and perfectly seasoned spices.
The service was equally amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating a great dining experience.

The comida here is a’ight ♂️ I’ve had much better service and food in San Bernardino my hometown. The atmosphere is beautiful but the service is substandard. It seems you have to be part of a certain demographic to get better service here, of you know what I mean. The happy hour menu is probably the best thing this place has to offer. I’m a bit disappointed but maybe next time I stop though, it’ll be different…. Until then!!
