Definitely an American Mexican restaurant. The salsa tasted like straight tomato sauce. The queso and chips were good. I ordered a shredded chicken taco salad. I had to ask for refried beans in the bottom of the shell. The chicken had no taco seasoning. I felt like I had to build my salad. No Guacamole or sour cream on it, just very bland. The service was good.

This is a great Hacienda location. The staff are all excellent. It is very well managed and their food is always spot on. The place is always clean and they can handle the busy times very well. Their classic wet burrito is consistently delicious. Had their fresh tacos and they are really great. When they ask if you want red or green salsa just say yes.

There are four hacienda restaurants in the Evansville area. I’d rate them about the same. I’m not a huge fan of their salsa, which is tomatoes. Their white queso is decent. Their staff has been consistently good. We had a huge group tonight and were taken care of. It’s typical midwest Tex-Mex to me. They serve cheese fries and mozzarella sticks at a Mexican restaurant. They have some interesting drinks for decent prices. It’s a good place to go with friends and enjoy a large and relatively cheap meal. Our experience has been good so we will return.

My Mom and I had given up on the Hacienda on Green River Road a long time ago. We decided to try the Hacienda in Darmstadt and it was great! The service and the food were much better than we expected. I love their salsa. It’s not chunky and has a great flavor.
The most interesting experience was the bathroom sinks. The hand dryer is part of the faucet and it looks like handle bars. As I washed my hands, I was curious what the bars were sticking out either side of the faucet. All of a sudden, they kicked on and started blowing air! I’m not a jumpy person, but it made me jump. So beware of the bathroom faucets/hand dryers!

That’s supposed to be a chimichanga. It was the size of a pop tarts. The rice was undercooked. Refried beans old. And the lettuce was minimal. Tomatoes were few. I guess I was expecting like every other place a big chimichanga. Usually about the size of the freaking plate. I wasn’t satisfied honestly.

Had a wait time of 50 minutes but they were busy. Spent time with family in a group of 8. Melissa was our waitress and she was excellent. The restaurant was clean and our waitress deserved the best of a tip if not more. I ordered the Hacienda Wrap and it tasted GREAT! I’ve been to Hacienda before but never had ordered this before. It comes with chicken but they let me substitute for steak. It came with a lot of tasty steak! My family and I were very impressed with our experience and will be returning. They also easily accommodated us as we had a five month old baby with us. I highly recommend this restaurant and by all means ask for Melissa. The bathroom was super clean and easily handicap accessible as I walk with a cane.

My husband and I had lunch today at this Hacienda, Nicole was our server, we had the new limited Fiesta Fresco Bowl, Nicole highly recommended it, she said it really delicious. She was spot on, grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, rice, corn, beans, cheese , 2 different kind sauces, and pickled red onions. The Fiesta Fresco Bowl was a nice size serving and looked as good as it tasted. Hacienda needs to put this dish on the menu permanently. Nicole was attentive, checking on us if we needed more drinks or chips. She is very nice and friendly. Definitely will be back for the Fiesta Bowl and ask for Nicole
