I was cautiously hopeful about a Mexican food buffet. I was pleasantly surprised by the self-serve buffet and the look of the wide variety. This was NOT Tex-Mex more traditional and authentic. I tried a wide range of foods and they were all pretty good. Not amazing but much higher quality than Pancho’s. The variety of options was a pleasant surprise. Drinks are included and several agua fresca options were available as well as horchata; I chose the lemonade as well as a glass of water.
The reason for two stars on the food was because after walking to my car I started feeling an upset stomach. It hit all of a sudden and I ended up vomiting in the parking lot. I had no ill feelings before or after. I feel confident something I ate wasn’t quite right but I don’t recall anything tasting “off” or rancid. I also am NOT prone to getting sick from international foods. I spent several days in Mexico eating food from street vendors with no ill effects. I feel confident something I ate at Hacienda Buffet was not quite right.

Wow!! First time eating here
I have to say the taste was good and the service was equally great (s/o to Ruby & Antonio)
The atmosphere is pleasant except for the fact there was a lot of crowding in the front when waiting for a table.
Suggestion: add some chairs/couch/bench inside or make the entrance a bit bigger
Aside from that it was very nice overall!
Thanks, God bless Y’all!

Pretty restaurant with plenty of seating. The food was good, but not spectacular. Some of the food on one of the hot bars was not hot. The salad bar was mediocre at best: they did have a variety of salsas to choose from. The fruit was okay. I’ve never seen so much jello at a buffet restaurant. I didn’t see a lot of dessert options. They have a lot of candy, and did I mention the jello?

She was very nice ❤️Our waiter was very friendly & attentive The restaurant is very beautifully decorated ! The food was great & fresh ! As for the person that said it cost $25 .Not true ! Unless you ordered something from the menu. $19.95 a person . Husband & I almost didn’t come here because someone said it was $25 . We changed our mind ! Glad we did ! Check out the waterfall outside & the beautiful landscape ❤️

Me and my family are from Houston, we’re staying downtown Dallas, we made a 45 minute trip to this location by a recommendation that this restaurant was worth it, and let me tell you it was absolutely worth it the 45 minute drive, it’s now my New Mexican restaurant to go too when I’m here in Dallas, the food was really good, well seasoned, well cooked everything tasted absolutely amazing, meets weren’t dry and the staff was really friendly specially my waiter (Noe lopez)well informed about what’s in the menu, asked him about there process of there coffee (got to try it, it’s a must ) he was able to answer questions, not only that, he’s quick, attentive to details and a genuine friendly guy(price )absolutely fair and well worth it. Would recommend if you’re nearby.I don’t usually do reviews, but have to give credit where credit it’s due.

This was the most expensive buffet I have ever visited, anywhere. The furnishings and dining area were average, but where this place did shine was the variety and quality of Mexican dishes. I must say the flavors were off the chart and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. That being said, I’m not sure about the $25 a plate price, but I’m glad I visited.

A Mexican buffet that’s actually authentic in Texas?? I thought I was dreaming.
Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon Hacienda Buffet in Fort Worth — a true hidden gem that feels like someone dropped a slice of Mexico right into the heart of Texas.
From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn’t your average buffet. The food? Amazing. A wide selection of Mexican-style meats, fresh fruit and veggies, seafood, salads, salsas, traditional desserts — I could go on. Just a heads-up: no guac or avocado, but honestly, with this many delicious options, you won’t miss it.
The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place was clean and inviting.
But here’s the twist: the outdoor area is a total vibe. We braved the heat to check it out and were met with shaded patio seating, an outdoor bar, a peaceful water fountain, a waterfall (yes, a waterfall), and picture-perfect spots everywhere. I could totally see this place hosting weddings, birthdays, or spontaneous dance parties.
I only wish I lived closer, because this would be a regular weekend ritual. Fort Worth, y’all are lucky. Don’t keep this place a secret!
