The place is wonderful, it has food for all ages and needs. My sister can’t eat meat but was still able to enjoy and find food that fit her diet. They gave you pan as an appetizer and it was delightful. This place has decorations of a homey tavern. The furniture and walls has beautiful carvings and paintings on it. The people here where polite and weren’t pushy in any way. Overall this place was a wonderful experience and the food tasted like home.

This Mexican buffet is nothing short of a culinary celebration. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that feels warm, festive, and thoughtfully curated. The variety is truly impressive—each dish crafted with care, bursting with authentic flavors, and presented with admirable attention to detail.
The aromas alone invite indulgence, but it’s the richness of the spices, the freshness of the ingredients, and the comforting balance of tradition and creativity that truly elevate the experience. Every bite feels generous and soulful, a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to honoring Mexican cuisine.
The service is gracious and attentive, enhancing an already delightful visit. This is not merely a buffet—it is a refined homage to Mexican gastronomy, perfect for those who appreciate abundance without sacrificing quality. A place you’ll leave satisfied, impressed, and eager to return.

Lets start with the best thing on the menu is the cafe de olla. Literally was the best. It saved the experience for me. The waiter was attentive with the refills for the cafe de olla. I really tried to like it for the food but you can tell some food has been way too long in the food line. The chips for nachos were so tough I couldn’t chew them. The tamales was almost a plastic consistency. I didnt even try to taste it if my fork couldn’t cut through it. If I had to recommend something it would be the bistec con papa and the cafe de Olla.

Visiting Dallas from Houston on a business trip it was noon when we decided to enter, I was a little skeptical as I walked into the restaurant, got a table right away tasting various dishes very good taste, first waiter never returned (apparently I was in a bad mood) however then Paulina came to our table with the brightest friwndly attitude asking if we needed anything… Paulina went out of her way to make our visit an unforgettable experience at Hacienda Buffet, I enjoyed my Coffee. Totally professional, thank you Paulina! Management Give this woman a Raise.

First time here … there was a wait. The parking is shabby, literally parked in grass behind the building. But the food was worth it! Home made.. lots of options. From beans to steak and homemade tortillas. The posole was very yummy! Ill be making a trip back soon.

We went on Monday afternoon and the variety of food was amazing. Most of the food was delicious. Candy bat, pastries bar, salads bar. Fresh aguas frescas and the best part for me was hand made tortillas. Great place to go. So beautiful atmosphere and decorated. Very clean restaurant. We will back soon.

The only thing good about this place is the atmosphere and service. The food is very bad or mediocre at best. Every single thing I tried i didn’t like. The meat was very dry and hard. Then beans are like 90% water 10% beans. The “Aguas frescas” come out of a soda dispenser so they are definitely not aguas frescas and they are horrible. If this is your first time eating Mexican food please don’t let this place be your first time trying it or it’ll leave you with a bad opinion about Mexican food, and this is coming from a Mexican person who loves Mexican food. Last but not least, the price is not justifiable. I paid $75.76 for 2 adults and one child. Worst money spent so far this year.
