Great sushi and ramen spot! Satisfied our cravings for Japanese food. We had the tonkatsu ramen, chicken shoyu ramen, rock and roll sushi roll, and pork katsu bowl. Service was great, food came out quick. We went on a Sunday for lunch so it wasn’t too busy. Nice and clean atmosphere.

This gem was suggested to me by a family member so I figured to try it, since the former place was not good and did not do good and this is a small town where opinion matters the decor is completely redone with very nice touches they have a separate room that can be rented for gatherings and the food was delicious. I ordered spicy tuna roll it had the heat I love cause anyone can label spicy and not quite hit the mark they certainly hit the heat if that’s what you like recommend the teriyaki salmon to anyone come check this sushi bar a few miles from town with a great atmosphere! Happy dining my fine folks!
Update 2/8 folks be sure to stop by for Valentines they have a chef that caters to customers and will take custom orders!! Happy Sushi here my fine friends!

Ordered the following:
1. spicy miso – broth tasted like it was seasoned with a lot of worcestershire/hoisin sauce.
2. Creamy tonkotsu – not creamy at all but just a flavorless salted broth. The noodles were terrible. So starchy and not appetizing at all so I ended up tossing it instead.
3. Spicy tuna and california roll were just meh. Too much cream on california roll.
Gave 2 stars just because the to go containers were good and presentation was OK.

Hachiban’s Sushi & Ramen head sushi chef/manager threw it out of the park today! My daughter has been asking for sushi, and she loves her salmon nigiri. Every time we come in, their sushi somehow tastes even better than before. If you haven’t tried them yet, take this as your sign to! You won’t regret it!

So glad our little town finally has a sushi spot, so as soon as I heard we had to stop by. Today was only their second day open, so keep that in mind if you decide to give them a try.

The experience was mixed. Service was poor and they seemed very understaffed. We were seated but never given menus until the server came to ask if we were ready to order, without menus in hand. On top of that, their menu listed beer and teas, but they didn’t actually have either available.

Our food took about 50 minutes to arrive, and the appetizer (Spicy Garlic Edamame) came out after the sushi. The edamame was undercooked with all the sauce pooled at the bottom of the bowl. Our sushi rolls also went on a trip around the restaurant, stopping at a couple of other tables before making their way to us, which showed how unorganized the service was.

As for the food itself: the Spicy Miso Ramen was underwhelming the broth lacked flavor and didn’t match the menu photo, though the pork was tasty. The sushi, however, was solid. Both the Dragon Roll and Rock N Roll were fresh and flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal.

Service-wise, little things added up the forks we asked for never came, napkins were nowhere in sight, and overall it felt very chaotic.

That said, I do recommend the sushi. If you’re going for rolls, you’ll probably enjoy them. Since it’s only their second day open, I’ll give them some time to work out the kinks and maybe come back in a couple of months to see if they’ve improved.

I was gonna order the Danelle same “Rosamond DoorDash food” until I saw this place and thought “finally something different” . Now I must say I don’t just eat anyones sushi but I’ll always give it a try especially if I can try it at home before going there or inviting friends and family. I ordered a few rolls and they were very good. I will definitely be stopping in with friends and family.

If I could give 6 stars, I would.

I’m shocked to see such quality in a restaraunt here in Rosamond. There’s some good eats in this town, but this place really stands apart from all the rest.

As soon as I walked through the door I felt as though I had teleported to a fancy Japanese joint in LA. The decor in here is clean, intriguing and very welcoming. The music is playing at the perfect volume, the lighting is just right, and the service from the employees is exceptional.

I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and Lemon Salmon Roll. I am a SUCKER for good noodles and fresh fish. I’ve been to at least half of LA’s Ramen establishments, from Mid City to Little Tokyo and I’ve frequented Kansuii Ramen many a time in Westlake Village as well, Kansuii being my all time favorite. No other ramen joint has come close to Kansuii Ramen until I tried this spot here in town.

The noodles here are the perfect thickness and you can tell they’re made in house, they’re perfectly al dente and have a good flavor to them. I could eat these noodles on their own, honestly. The broth is full of flavor. I rarely clean my bowl, but I nearly licked my bowl clean with this. They are not stingy with the toppings, and the toppings are fresh. The pork was tender and they were not stingy with that either. As far as the soft boiled marinated egg, it was admittedly over boiled for my liking, as I love a runny/creamy yolk. But it was still delicious nonetheless.

These folks know how to make a hell of a lemon salmon roll. Besides Goldfish in Palmdale, many places can’t get the perfect thickness without the lemon overwhelming the rest of the roll. Here, the lemon slices were almost translucent, they did a tremendous job on that. The perfect combinatoon of zest on a fresh, fatty slice of salmon.

I will be coming here at least 2x a month to satisfy my ramen and sushi cravings. If you haven’t tried this place out yet, DO IT!!
Oh, they also deliver on Doordash

First time at this newly opened restaurant (at time of writing this).

Upon entering the first thing you’ll notice is that the interior looks absolutely wonderful. There is a nice sushi counter, a couple of booths and tables set under paper lanterns and Sakura inspired decorations. We were greeted and seated with a friendly smile and given menus.

Our drinks came immediately while we were given a chance to look over the ample food options. Aside from Ramen, there are rice bowl options, sushi, sashimi and bento combinations available.
Since we were in the mood for Ramen we ended up ordering one order with tonkatsu broth and one shoyu broth.

Both of our bowls came out quickly and piping hot. Make sure you bring a big appetite because the bowls are large.

The ramen bowls came with egg, chashu pork, Nori, corn, black garlic, bamboo shoots and wakame.

My shoyu broth was absolutely wonderful. A nice, deep soy sauce flavor full of umami that supported the chewy and thin style ramen noodles nicely. The chashu was melt in your mouth tender and flavorful. The egg had a good marinade flavor. Personally prefer a more soft boiled egg but the hard boiled egg was fine taste and texture wise.

The tonkatsu broth had a nice mouthfeel and a rich, pork broth flavor and the touch of garlic was appreciated.

On a side note, the chopsticks were of a nice quality (not the cheap break apart type) as well as the to-go containers (we wanted to sample different broths but really there is enough food for two people to share lunch).

(They are open for lunch and dinner but not all day long so check opening hours).
