The good: The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and was decorated very nice.
Tuna tower was good but maybe a little on the sweet side.
The Bad:
The 2 Sushi rolls ordered had stale seaweed. The seaweed wrap was extremely chewy on both rolls. I did let the waiter know but didn’t get any response back. Just got a bill for $78.
We also got a hibachi Fried rice with no onions but it had onions. Add a pic of un-chewable seaweed.(sorry for the gross picture!)
Overall very disappointing trip to a new sushi restaurant.

Very nice! The restaurant itself had a very clean and neat appearance, a soothing and quiet environment. The ceiling done in cherry blossoms and umbrellas is wonderful. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Only had the sushi this trip but it was very well prepared. The spicy tuna roll was very flavorful with a hint of crunch, the Mexican roll was spicely but not overly hot, and the salmon and yellowtail nigiri were both perfectly sliced to allow a clean bite. Looking forward to returning for a noodle dinner. 2 sushi rolls and 4 pieces of nigiri w/o alcohol ~ $30.

Loved the place. Each type of Sushi we tried were awesome. Took my 2 girls and 2 nephews and ordered one sushi entrees each with two extras and came out costing a little over $100. Loved them all!!! Planning to go there soon. IA

Coming into the location the atmosphere is on point due to the decorations and seating arrangements. The interior is wonderful to look at with some paintings that help grab your attention while waiting to be serviced.
Sadly, while everyone is friendly, the service is really slow. I believe it took 10 minutes for us to just get a drink order in, which is likely due to them providing water once you are seated. Outside of us, there was only one other customer, so I’m not sure what caused us to be serviced so slow, but it was repetitive. For everything we ordered (drinks, appetizer and meal) we had to wait a long time. It took us 2 hours to finish eating here just due to the high wait times on everything.
The food was tasty, while also being easy on the eyes, however I feel for the price point it wasn’t at the level it should be. I will say though as a plus to the high prices, they do provide quite a bit of food for each dish, so depending on the person you could think the price is right for eating here if you don’t mind leftover sushi.
For me personally, the prices are still too high based on the quality of food and snail service. There are other options worth going to that feel more rewarding without having buyers remorse after leaving the establishment and looking at your bill.

Man did I love this place! I had driven by and noticed it but didn’t expect much since it’s in a strip mall situation. But walking in it is beautifully decorated to give some great ambiance! We tried a BUNCH of different things, and it was ALL delicious and most importantly FRESH! Only note I had was the miso soup was too heavy on the seaweed, so just ask them to go light on that when you order. 🙂 I expected a big bill, but all the food the two of us ordered and it was like $62! So very good pricing for yummy sushi! It’s BYOB, so bring it if you want it for now, but they are planning to get a license to sell alcohol soon!

I’m absolutely stunned every time I come in and the place isn’t packed; this is a hidden gem in Wylie!!
The service is great, and although it can be a little slow at times, I think they have improved it greatly from what other reviews have posted here! The atmosphere is also stunning, and it’s obvious they put a lot of care into it.
Now for the best part- the food. It’s absolutely phenomenal, I’ve had a lot of ramen and sushi from my travels, and I was stunned at how good the ramen here was! Extremely flavorful, fresh ingredients, and a broth I simply cannot get enough of. Sushi is very fresh and wonderful as well! The tempura is one of my favorites I’ve found in this area so far, and truthfully it’s hard to not come in here at least once a week since we live down the street, haha!
Absolutely don’t pass over this place, even if things get slow or busy in the future, as long as they keep serving the food that they do, I can assure that it will be worth it in the end!

Food is good. Service is okay. This place will nickle and dime you for sauces. They charge a lot for a tiny amount- PER sauce and they won’t tell you about it. I brought it to the servers attention and she said “they” wouldn’t take off the charge. I’m not a fan of restaurants who do this. Notice of extra charge should be told AHEAD of time to the customer! I wasn’t happy whoever “they” were, didn’t take off the hidden fees.

It was our first time trying this local place. I called ahead about an old mailer special and forgot to bring it in for dine in. They still honored it, after some deliberation. The rice was a bit dry towards the very end of lunch service, which wasn’t too surprising. It was also more lightly seasoned than I’m used to, but totally fine, and that let other flavors shine even more. The eel was moist and delicate, with an awesome flavor, although next time I’d skip the eel sauce, because it was cloylingly sweet for my taste. The shrimp tempura was incredible, with a double layer of perfectly cooked crisp tempura shrimps in the roll. They had a light, airy, and delicate batter, and the shrimp was perfectly cooked til juicy and not rubbery. All the veg in the rolls, like avocado and cucumber, were fresh and great. The nori was crisp. Even the sliced pickled ginger was lovely. Glad to have this place in town, we’ll be back.
