The teriyaki salmon was great. Good portions, nice cut of salmon which was seared to a nice crisp. The sake and sapporo flowed freely and eased me into relaxation on my layover. Prices are reasonable too, for an airport. Would recommend.

I noticed others enjoying poke bowls, sushi, and tempura and they all looked great, so I decided to try the Hachiko Bento with both chicken and beef teriyaki. The chicken was excellent, the beef just okay, and it seemed the gyoza was missing. The portion was large enough for two people.

Previously, my order was handed to me with a to-go bag offered, so the service seems a bit inconsistent.

I don’t expect much from airport food, but this is the worst airport food experience I’ve had in years. The food was little more than gas station cuisine with a nicer facade. The Japanese curry was overcooked rubberized “chicken” jerky over a day-old brick of rice. A few shreds of mushy carrots make an occasional cameo, and I found one piece of potato on my last bite. Perhaps there was another hiding in there, but I could only stomach about half of this inedible slop. When this leaves my body it will be more pleasant than the experience of consuming it.

Good food, the beef yakisoba was tasty and the portion was very generous. I also had a bubble tea which was humongous and delicious! Service could have been a bit faster however, and seating is very limited. A bit pricey but that’s in line with what you can expect to pay at an international airport.

Food was OK. Everything cooked well. The sauce and marinade in the meat was strong, with the meat itself have minimal flavor. Chicken had stringy pieces of fat throughout. Beef was tenderized to death. Ginger flavor was strong. It’s OK and given the other reviews of places at SEA it is probably slightly above the average. Price is high at $18 to $22 ea entree but it seems to be avg for the airport.

I should have never gotten the salad rolls but I was curious. The truth is, they have to made fresh because the rice paper gets tough after you put water on it. Anytime they are sitting out, the odds are they are rough. Plus they were flavorless. So not worth the $11. If you want to offee salad rolls, make them fresh. The rice. paper will be soft and chewy. At least the peanut sauce was good.

The breakfast wrap was pretty good, lots of eggs but some tiny strips of bacon. It was also pretty salty but filling. Half a wrap nearly made me full.

All in all, don’t get salad wraps prepackaged. They will never taste as good as fresh ones.

One of the hidden secrets of SeaTac is the Hachi-ko “chicken rice soup,” which undersells this warm, gingery, chicken-y congee/jook/arroz caldo/chao ga that is a perfect light meal for weary travelers! You’ll find it hidden in the sides part of the menu, but don’t sleep on it!

I don’t think I’m here to add anything new. This is good food and you get a lot of it! If I’m in SeaTac and need to grab a bite, this is where I’ll be going.

I got the curry with chicken katsu. The rice and curry were par for the course: warm, mild spice, and satisfying. The chicken katsu was pretty solid too, though the oil might’ve been a tad too hot in the fryer. The portion was enough to fill me up, and I’m the guy who finishes everyone’s leftovers after eating what I ordered. I wouldn’t even mind splitting it with someone else, which would mean half the price!!

The only downside in my one visit here is probably the service. The workers probably won’t greet you warmly, but they’ll get you food fast.

When you consider being in airport, the work that would go into cooking it yourself, and the portions you get (especially compared to other spots), this is a great place to get food.

I got the chicken yakisoba and it was just over $18 and considering the portion size for airport food I thought it was an excellent value. Easily share between 2-3 Asian kids 😉 maybe 2 regular kids with big appetite. I do wish it was a little saucier but it was definitely fresh and light. Not heavy at all. Service was friendly and food came out within 4-5 mins. There is a bar eating area right where you pickup food, maybe 4-5 seats. To the left there is about four additional tables for seating. They also serve bubble tea and wine/sake here. There are some grab and go type items like musubi.

We ate at Hachi-ko at the Seattle airport before our flight to IAD. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and the katsu with Japanese curry. The service was good and impressively fast. The food was fresh and tasty, and we enjoyed both dishes. The portions were generous, enough to fill the two of us. The picture was taken when we were already halfway through our meal. The price is high because it’s in the airport. We highly recommend this place.
