Yesterday evening I ordered my family dinner and had it door dashed. I bought two burgers, fries, union rings, kids meal, and their cauliflower bites. I took the tomato out of one burger, placed the tomato on the fries in case I wanted to eat the tomato, and put the burger in the fridge. I ate my burger and my 2 year old ate her meal. I went back to get my toddler more fries and there was a nasty slug on the tomato I had pulled out of our second burger! Absolutely disgusted! I called The Habit immediately and they did not seem concerned and said to message them on their website….i went to my door dash app and requested a refund with the photos. What kind of restaurant is this….not sure if I had a slug in my burger that I had eaten but I am absolutely disgusted. You can get Rat Lungworm from eating a slug and die. 0/10 for this restaurant. Extremely disappointed. You need to have better management checking the produce and making sure the produce is cleaned. Will never be eating here again.

Dear Lord its the Jason Borne of Eateries.
The Habit! OH MY how we missed you!! Since leaving California years ago and finding out just this morning there was a Habit! Sheeeeeesh!!! We got dressed and hit the road! 30 minutes later!
There it was in all its glory!! THE HABIT.
So excited!!! the family and I strolled in!!
Just in time to beat the lunch rush. And when I say just in time, I mean it. There was two people in there when we first showed up, and by the time we left, there were almost no seats. Haha IT REALLY IS THAT GOOD.
We grabbed just about one of everything to be honest. But I was there for the french fries, and some of their delicious housemaid ranch. And let me tell you how they did not disappoint.
Whoever the manager is of this location really knows what they’re doing.I watched his team get hit with a huge lunch rush and not once did they bat an eye. Every single person who got their food were happy and quietly in conversation while eating. The atmosphere was filled with a hum of satisfaction. Also, there were no slugs in any of our food. Lmao. And if there were slugs, it was too good to notice!!

We one hundred and fifty percent will be returning in all of our glory! And we will recommend this place to everyone. We talk to even random people on the street! Hot dawn! Im so happy your here! NOW MY WIFE EVEN KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS TO EAT. HOLY MOLLY!!!! HAHAHA

This is my idea of fast casual. The place is much nicer than any fast food joint in the area. The food that we ordered was all hot and absolutely delicious. The booths were a bit dirty but I appreciated a staff member coming up to customers and asking if they could take their trash. Great customer service and will keep people coming back to places like these. When you come in you can order through a kiosk or go up to the counter. The place is very open and doesn’t feel like a fast food place with all the alarms going off. My husband got the melt, chicken, salad and drink meal for only $11- steal deal. I ordered the fries and the bacon char burger. Will definitely come back here.

Second time coming here. Order the exact same thing just to see the consistency of the order. No complaints on that part was the same as ordering it.The first time with presentation, hotness, overall satisfied. Ordering on the kiosk, not too confusing. Was a little surprise to see that. So like I said in the beginning, I ordered the same thing. It was just a basic cheeseburger and fries. Everything that they offered on it. I liked it and that’s what matters as long as you’re happy with what you order and it tastes good.
I like the place I thought the price was reasonable. I do want to try some of their other items that they offer on their menu. If there was one gripe is that I think their fry sauce could be a little thicker, maybe that’s just personal preference. I know when people leave, it’s a little hard to get right to the tables to wipe them down for the next customer. But I’m pretty understanding with that. If you’ve ever worked in food services, you’ll know.

Ordered my lunch today, 2 orders of fries and a drink. I usually order 10 minutes before I take my lunch from work. And today was no different. Problem was once I ordered it I had some problems at work that ended up making me be 20 mins late to pick up my food. When I came in I was greeted as usual by the amazing staff. Specifically Samantha, because I was late I fully expected my fries to be cold and I was just going to roll with it. But Samantha offered to remake them because they were cold.At first I said I’m ok with it but Samantha insisted on it. I was honestly taken back because I’ve ordered from places who will still give the cold food out. So I applaud Samantha. And this isn’t the first time I’ve been greeted by her kindness and warmth. Another shout out to Leslie because she’s always greeting with a smile and her guest service is amazing. Now forgive me I didn’t get the other girls names but the girl with the short hair that use to be pink, she’s always on top of it at the counter getting orders together and always has great customer service, the other girl, she’s shorter Hispanic with longer black hair, has fixed my burger a few times during rush hour and always has a great attitude. Keep it up! You ladies are amazing.

As a severe introvert, I really did like being able to order at the kiosk and getting text about my order. The iced tea was really yummy. The burgers are a bit fancier than Burger King. Taste like someone barbecued them at a picnic very nostalgic. The price was a little high. That’s why it’s not four stars, but we’ll definitely come again. The house made ranch was yummy. The fries need to be eaten quickly. They’re not the best. And after seeing someone say theirs was very very pink we ordered our as well done, which was a good choice. It was still a little pink, but much more manageable.

$15 for my meal. I got a Lettuce wrapped burger. The lettuce was brown which is unappetizing but I just pulled those pieces off and the burger was amazing. Their ranch is really good as well. They have a serve yourself pepper stand. You can get chili peppers, peperoncino, and jalepeneo.

Keeping in mind, this is a fast food place so I think five stars out of the question for any fast food place. The burger and fries are as bad as good as you can get with fast food although the first batch of fries we got were called, but we had them traded for a hot set of fries.

Onion rings are really good, the sourdough bread on my sandwich was kind of falling apart, so I don’t think it was as fresh as it could be.

It’s a new place so they have to get used to things. I’m sure ingredient inventories have to be worked out.

Your food is made to order so it’s pretty fresh, I wish they would do what five guys does with their food preparation. They wrap the hamburger in foil so it stays warm until the fries get put on as a last item on your tray so the Pfizer hot and your burger stays warm in the foil.

I used to frequent this place in Ventura, California, this location is a bit off, but I’m sure it’ll get better.
It’s worth trying it out a few times until they work everything out.

Our first time at this location and we were so glad the food was just as great as in SoCal. We got our usual, the portabella and the teriyaki chars along with the onion rings and of course those amazing Tempura green beans! Topped it off with the dragonfruit lemonade and had the perfect meal, thoroughly satisfied with the food. Girls up front could have smiled a tad, felt kinda hostile but otherwise a good experience. Definitely coming back.

I gotta lot of habits, but this will not be one of them. I think that I shall never see, a burger quite as bland as thee.
It would be nice I thought to have a new fast food spot I could drop in occasionally while out bustling about. I have a couple of places that fit that bill, Killer, Smack Town, heck, even the Jack… in a pinch. These are all solid standards, I know what I’m going to get, something savory, something that lingers in the mouth in a friendly way.

But alas, this was not to be. Not a place to come out of the jungle for, a spot to lure me out of the tree tops. There are plenty of destinations about that sing the siren song, that are tasty crumbs along the path of life, leading you through the wilderness.

I’m not fond of the kiosk model, another wedge hammered between people, the opportunity to be kind. I suppose it might suit a younger generation who are more comfortable with anonymity, to their sad misfortune, but for an old codger like myself, it’s no fun. And when the suggested tip comes up, I’m not sure what it is for. Am I tipping for the convenience of not dealing with a human? It’s a flex.

The plating was odd, handing me a tray that seemed like an empty field with a couple of shrubs hanging out in the corners. A basket, napkins, placement, anything to make this meal a little less spartan. But that’s just a quibble.

The problem was the food itself. The burger was average and wouldn’t have made much of an impression one way or the other, but then came the onion rings like a false promise. At first bite, they seemed to have a decent crunch, not too oily, a strong sense of onion, but then there is a flaw in the diamond, a crack in the foundation… I made it about 5 bites in and salt overpowered me. My mouth began to revolt like the peasants in France. Remember what happened back then!

Is this a new thing? Instead of creativity, they just use more salt. I know in the forest and field they leave salt licks out for the animals, but at my age it just rises my risk of heart attack.

I will say the limeade was pretty good and I like fountain drinks because I can mix and match and because air gets into the drink. And the short interaction I had with an employee was pleasant.

A restaurant can build up a lot of things to claim their space. They can brand themselves and streamline the system, they can wear smart clean uniforms, and choose an edgy name, but the foundation is food and if the foundation is cracked, nobody comes by to visit.
Sparse brand, sparse presentation, sparse flavor (nice drinks). I’m afraid this will never be my Habit.
